The Revolution: Episode 11(And the NEW NXT Champion....)

It's been a competition like no other, and after two months and fourteen eliminations, it all comes down to this. Seth Rollins. Cesaro. One walks out with the championship, and the other walks out with nothing at all. It's time to crown a new NXT Champion. Charlotte vs Mickie James A lot of trash talk from Charlotte to open this match, as she showed no respect to the veteran Mickie James. Mickie was a lot less brazen, choosing to wait for opportunities to strike, just surviving the onslaught of offense from Charlotte. James hit her biggest move of the match when she turned a powerbomb into a hurricanrana, sending Charlotte to the floor. But a veteran move from the "Queen of NXT" turned the tides, as Charlotte caught Mickie with a massive big boot on the outside. She rolled James back into the ring, working on the legs and looking to end it.... Winner: Charlotte Finish: Figure 8 Leglock Breezango vs The Revival For a good portion of this match, cert

The Revolution: Episode 10(Finals Preview)

After over two months of competition, we are down to two. Seth Rollins, Cesaro, who will be the new NXT Champion? Cesaro vs Seth Rollins Normally, this is where I would discuss each guys run thus far, and take a look at the latest odds. But there's a bigger story here, and that is the health of Seth Rollins. We all saw the despicable acts by Samoa Joe after his defeat, attempting to cripple his fellow competitor. In mere moments, Joe caused major damage, and has been suspended indefinitely by Triple H. But what about Rollins? In an interview with NXT reporter Renee Young two days ago, he stated that he's had some trouble putting weight on the injured leg, with quite a few of the doctors becoming very concerned. Despite that, he told Young that he has been cleared to wrestle the final match, although he will be wearing some extra support to the ring, as well as tape for his ribs, which were injured in the match as well. So, it seems that Seth is going full speed ahead,

Fastlane 2018 Recap

I'm going to make a bit of an effort to keep this post a little shorter than my Elimination Chamber review. This was an enjoyable event, although not anything spectacular, and the matches definitely out-shined their abysmal build. The Fastlane name has been associated with some really bad pay-per-views over the years, and this wasn't one, so history, I guess? Fastlane 2016 Score: 1/10 Fastlane 2017 Score: 5/10 - Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura had a very good match to open the show, one that, surprise, surprise had almost no interesting build. Rusev in particular showed me a lot during this match, and that superkick was one for the ages. Good win for Shinsuke, and I'll be intrigued to see how he does, promo-wise, in the build-up to 'Mania.  - Bobby Roode and Randy Orton are two personal favorites, but I can't say I loved their match. Even the addition of the US Title wasn't enough to add interesting stakes, as they failed to invest the crowd

The Revolution: Episode 9(All or Nothing)

Full Sail University heats up this week, as the semi-finals of the NXT Championship Tournament are set to begin. Tonight, AJ Styles battles Cesaro, while Seth Rollins takes on Samoa Joe, with the chance to fight for the ultimate prize hanging in the balance. Who will seize the opportunity and who leaves empty handed? AJ Styles vs Cesaro- NXT Championship Tournament Semi-Finals Match This was a very even match, as anticipated. Early on, it was AJ Styles that would go on the offense, hitting a facebuster before flying off the middle rope with a forearm, but only for a one count. Cesaro was quickly back to his feet, working his strikes, punching and chopping Styles. Pop-up European Uppercut! That was a big move, but Cesaro chose not to follow it up, looking to put things away with the Neutralizer. This was a mistake, as it allowed AJ to counter and fight back. A blitz of strikes now from AJ, before he hooked one arm of Cesaro and dumped him with a brainbuster! One......two......b

The Revolution: Episode 8(Semi-Finals Preview)

16 men entered the NXT Championship Tournament, all with visions of grandeur, and now, only 4 remain. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, "The Swiss Cyborg" Cesaro, "The Architect of the Future" Seth Rollins and "The Destroyer" Samoa Joe. Hello, I'm Henry Keys, and with the semi-finals set to begin, I'm here to breakdown and preview these two high stakes match-ups. If you would like to see these matches in the form of an image, the link is  here . Enjoy! AJ Styles vs Cesaro AJ Styles had a relatively stress-free quarter finals, as he was able to get past Roderick Strong with a decisive win. But while Styles has mostly had an easy run thus far, it gets a lot more difficult going forward. The best of the best is in the semi-finals, and Cesaro has certainly proved how good he is. With the odds mostly against him, the tag team specialist out-lasted Roman Reigns, one of the favorites of the tournament, to survive and advance. Cesaro is battle
