Henry's Universe Mode #46: Smackdown

I haven't been feeling that well over the past few days, and that's the reason why Smackdown is running late. As a result, Smackdown is only two matches this week, the two King of the Ring Quarter-Final matches. The event itself will be posted later today. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Kurt Angle vs Bad News Barrett- King of the Ring Quarter-Finals Match

Both men were eager to advance, and started out with a massive brawl, neither giving ground. The brawl continued in and out of the ring, with Angle eventually grabbing control. That didn't last long, when Barrett connected with the Bull Hammer, forcing Angle to reach deep for the kick out. Barrett, frustrated, then tried to pin Angle, using the ropes for leverage, but Angle kicked out again. The Bare Knuckle Brawler then tried to slow things down and out wrestle Angle, a foolish mistake. Angle nearly made him pay for it when he connected with the Angle Slam, but Barrett just kicked out before the three count. Barrett attempted to cheat to victory using a steel chair, but Angle wouldn't have any of it, knocking the chair out of the ring and gaining control again. However, the veteran Angle made the biggest mistake of the match up, climbing to the top rope, intending to finish Barrett off. What he received was a second Bull Hammer, knocking him out of the King of the Ring tournament.

Winner and advancing in King of the Ring: Bad News Barrett

Rusev w/Lana vs Cesaro- King of the Ring Quarter-Finals Match

Both men were very well matched, each possessing power, speed, agility and wrestling ability, and the early portion of the match was very even. Cesaro seemed to building momentum with a flurry of uppercuts, but Lana stepped in to save her client, distracting the Swiss Superman. Undeterred, Cesaro then dropped Rusev with a Neutralizer. The Bulgarian Brute might've been out then and there, but Lana distracted the referee to save him yet again. Cesaro dominated Rusev, shocking many in the crowd who had never seen Rusev in this bad of health. Rusev kicked out again and again, but couldn't gain any real momentum, and was nearly done for off a second Neutralizer, but again Lana stepped in to distract the referee from his count. The ref had seen enough, and evened the playing field, sending the Ravishing Russian packing. Rusev managed to get is some offense, but without his insurance option, it was only a matter of time before he was finally defeated. The end came when Cesaro, showing his strength, knocked Rusev out with another uppercut, forcing the referee to call for the belt, as Cesaro advanced to the semi-finals.

Winner and advancing in King of the Ring: Cesaro

Once again, apologies for the short post. Expect King of the Ring to be posted later today.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
