Henry's Universe Mode: Survivor Series Preview

Within a few short weeks, Henry's Universe Mode will begin again, on Sunday November 27th for Survivor Series. I'm here today to run-down the card and explain each match, so that you can better understand the stories whilst reading the post. Enjoy!

Survivor Series 2016 Card:

The Wyatt Family vs The Shield

These two warring factions have been going back and forth on Raw. Both have been having their issues, with the Shield even abandoning their signature entrance as tempers boil. In order to cease the chaos, Raw GM Shane McMahon ordered this six-man tag match in hopes of settling the score.

Baron Corbin(c) vs Apollo Crews- Intercontinental Title Match

Two of SmackDown's break-out stars will collide when Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews meet for the Intercontinental Title. Apollo won a 10-man battle royal to earn his title shot, and will look to dethrone the Lone Wolf.

Kevin Owens(c) vs Sami Zayn- United States Title Match

Kevin Owens has been running the Raw brand since his arrival in early October, defeating the likes of John Cena and Mark Henry, even picking up a win over the World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. Owens declared that Raw is the "Kevin Owens Show" and challenged anyone to try and stop him. Enter Sami Zayn. The former NXT Champion has promised to finally topple his bitter enemy and prove himself on the main roster.

Bayley vs Asuka- Raw Women's Title Match

After Nia Jax walked out with the WWE Women's Title, GM Shane McMahon was scrambling to find a solution. He introduced the Raw Women's Title, to be decided in a tournament featuring all nine of Raw's female competitors. The semi-finals came down to Bayley, Sasha Banks, Asuka and Nikki Bella. Bayley rolled up her best friend Sasha to advance and Asuka forced Nikki to submit to an Asuka Lock to set up the finals.

Team Undertaker vs Team Kane- Traditional Survivor Series Match

The Brothers of Destruction have been trading shots back and forth, but their feud may be finally coming to an end. When the Deadman traveled to SmackDown to face his brother, the Big Red Machine had help in the form of The Ascension, Konnor and Viktor. The Undertaker, a definite loner, was tasked with finding opponents to take on his brother. He chose the new World Tag Team Champions, Hideo Itami and Finn Balor, who had just upset The Outsiders. With the armies chosen, the stage is now set for war.

AJ Styles(c) vs Randy Orton vs Cesaro vs Tyson Kidd- WWE Title Match

The Phenomenal One reigns over SmackDown with an iron fist. He personally chose his challenger when he cost former champion Cesaro in a #1 Contender's Match with Randy Orton. Styles and Orton formed an unlikely alliance to keep the Swiss Superman away from the gold, but they were proven unsuccessful when Tyson Kidd returned to help out his friend. Cesaro and Kidd defeated Styles and Orton to be added to the title match, making it a fatal four-way. With three hungry challengers, can AJ Styles keep hold of his WWE Title, or will Randy Orton, Cesaro or Tyson Kidd walk out champion?

Brock Lesnar(c) vs Goldberg- World Heavyweight Title Match

The Beast Incarnate. The Conqueror. Whatever you call him, Brock Lesnar is dominance personified. Enraged over the firing of his manager Paul Heyman, Lesnar has been on an absolute tear. When Shane refused Brock's demand to avoid defending his belt at Survivor Series, Lesnar snapped, devastating the Raw GM with two F-5s. Shane announced by proxy that Lesnar's next opponent would be revealed. In the Champion vs Champion main event, Goldberg's music played, distracting Lesnar and allowing Kevin Owens to get the surprise win. Goldberg returned to go face-to-face with Lesnar just days before Survivor Series, their confrontation ending when Goldberg delivered a Jackhammer to the champion.

There you have it. In just a few week's time, Survivor Series will be posted, featuring Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg in the main event for the World Heavyweight Title.

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
