Henry's Universe Mode #222: Armageddon(Part 2)

Part 2 of Armageddon sees Tyler Breeze put his newly won WWE Championship on the line, while AJ Styles fights for the Intercontinental Championship with his job at stake. Plus, Finn Balor and Braun Strowman's six-month long rivalry comes to an end inside Hell in a Cell.

Tyler Breeze(c) vs Cesaro- WWE Championship Match

In the opening exchanges, we saw the tactics that Tyler Breeze was willing to use, as he just ran for cover, leaving the ring to use Drew McIntyre as a shield. Throughout this match, Breeze showed that he was willing to do whatever it took, using an eye rake and an exposed turnbuckle to his advantage. After Breeze's failed attempt at hitting the Unprettier, Cesaro looked to become a two-time WWE Champion, setting up for the Neutralizer. The insurance policy paid dividends, as McIntyre grabbed Cesaro's leg, distracting the challenger. Off the distraction, Breeze charged in to connect with the Beauty Shot, stealing a win and his first title defense.

Winner and still WWE Champion: Tyler Breeze

The Club vs The Elite

Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks had the speed and technical advantage in this match, and they used it early and often. This was an incredible display of tag team wrestling from Matt and Nick Jackson, as they pulled off some incredible moves, including the More Bang for Your Buck and the springboard tombstone piledriver. Combined with Kenny Omega's own ability and this was a formidable force, but The Club were up to the challenge. AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have tons of experience in the business, and they wrestled an intelligent match. In the end, their more conservative, methodical style paid off, as the Young Bucks were grounded and Kenny Omega was left alone. He put up a good fight, but was finally put away with a Styles Clash, as AJ became the new Intercontinental Champion and saved his spot on SmackDown Live.

Winners: The Club

Finn Balor(c) vs Braun Strowman- Hell in a Cell Match for the Universal Championship

Although Finn Balor was sporting some intimidating Demon paint in his entrance to the ring, there's simply no way to sugarcoat the fact that he was utterly dominated in this match. Hell in a Cell is a structure that is only brought out occasionally, and this match, this beating was the prime example as to why. Braun Strowman is a dangerous man, and he showed how great he can be as he tossed around the smaller Balor. Things got even more deadly when Strowman introduced weapons, smacking Finn with a steel chair and slamming him onto a set of steel steps at least four or five times. As if that wasn't enough, he then grabbed hold of the champion and powerbombed him through the cell wall! To add to the insanity, Braun Strowman then scaled the cell(!) and stood atop the structure, screaming for Balor to "Get These Hands!". Balor obliged, and both men brawled atop Hell in a Cell, 20 feet off the ground. Because Braun Strowman is a monster with no soul, he lifted Balor up, and tossed him through the roof of the cell, sending him crashing into the ring below! At this point, the official and the crowd were ready to write this match off, but with the heart of a thousand warriors, Finn Balor got back to his feet! Everyone was stunned, including the Monster Among Men. Finally, Balor got into the match, operating on pure adrenaline. However, as he looked for the Coup de Grace, Strowman had enough of that, lifting him up and delivering the running powerslam! 1..............2...............but the Demon King kicked out! How this match and Finn Balor were still going was anyone's guess, as Braun Strowman looked shocked and even a little impressed. He wasn't impressed enough to allow Balor a chance to get back into it, as he delivered another big powerslam, this time onto the steel steps, to finally end the match and become a two-time Universal Champion.

Winner and the NEW Universal Champion: Braun Strowman

A War Well Fought

As paramedics tried to enter the cell to assist the unmoving Finn Balor, Braun Strowman initially blocked the door. However, he then broke the lock open, allowing easier passage. As the new champion walked up the ramp, he turned to look back at the carnage left in his wake. The Monster Among Men then nodded and gave a rare smile, in appreciation of Finn Balor's incredible effort.

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
