WrestleMania Card
Finn Balor vs The Undertaker
On the Raw following Elimination Chamber, we got not one but two big returns to the red brand. First, The Undertaker made his first appearance since Summerslam, challenging anyone in the back to face him. His challenge was answered by Finn Balor, making his first appearance since Armageddon. The stage is set for a true dream match at WrestleMania. The Demon versus the Deadman. Who takes home the victory on the Grandest Stage of Them All?
Tyler Breeze(c) vs Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre- WWE Championship Match
There was simply no way Tyler Breeze was willing to face Brock Lesnar without backup, but Daniel Bryan was unwilling to cave to the champion's demands. A desperate Breeze then demanded Drew McIntyre be added to the match, but Bryan still wasn't budging. Finally, a deal was struck. McIntyre would face Lesnar on SmackDown, and if Drew won, it would now be a triple threat championship match. The two hosses knocked lumps out of each other, McIntyre giving it as good as he got, battling all the way to a draw, as neither could answer the referee's ten count. Bryan decided, based on Drew's performance and courage, to add him to the match, and an ecstatic Tyler Breeze celebrated by attacking a still recovering Brock Lesnar. But McIntyre refused to help in the beatdown, and simply watched on as the Beast delivered two F-5s to the WWE Champion. It appears that Breeze has finally played his hand too far, and no has nowhere left to run, with his championship reign hanging precariously in the balance.
Braun Strowman(c) vs Aleister Black- Universal Championship Match
In his first promo on Raw, Aleister Black had this to say:
"In Brooklyn, I accomplished what so many have doubted I could ever do. I became NXT Champion, I defeated Hideo Itami, and yet, I felt unfulfilled. Winning simply wasn't enough for me, I needed purpose, and so I left. I traveled the world, and I saw the best and the worst of humanity. Braun Strowman, I watched you. I watched you destroy, I watched you conquer, I watched you win. I never once left the shadows of my domain, until I finally found my purpose. The sins you have committed come with a price, and I am that price. Braun Strowman, at WrestleMania, I will be your judge, I will be your jury, and I will be your executioner. My name is Aleister Black, and I am your next Universal Champion and true leader of Monday Night Raw."
Following this statement, Black has vanished, leaving an angry Braun Strowman. The champion has continued to call out his challenger to face him in the ring, without luck. Finally, on the go-home show, Strowman had had enough. He threatened to put Shane McMahon through the stage with a powerbomb, before the lights went out. In the ring sat Aleister Black, and Strowman charged the ring. Black struck with frightening speed, leaving Strowman sprawled out in the middle of the ring. Black promised that the end was yet to come, before exiting the ring and walking to the back.
