The Dog League: Week 10 Preview(2019 Season)

Tailwaggerz looks to get a winning streak going as they face off with Tailwaggerz in one of the league's premier rivalries. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (3-6, 6th place)

It's been a tough month for Rascal, who has dealt with tons of different injuries and inconsistent performances that have seen him finally hit rock bottom. It's not getting any easier this week, with Adam Thielen likely out on Sunday and James Conner's status currently murky. Rascal will list Conner as a starter, but dropped Sony Michel to bring back Matt Breida as a backup for Conner if necessary. He does get back Julio Jones this week, who sends the banged up Thielen to the bench, and Golden Tate replaces John Brown in the starting lineup, as he has a cushy matchup with the Jets this week. Rascal gets a new starting defense, bringing in the Saints as the Steelers face the high powered Rams offense, and finds a new backup quarterback in Jimmy Garoppolo, as Aaron Rodgers is going on bye next week and Matt Ryan may not be ready to return just yet.

UPDATE: With James Conner out, Rascal has dropped John Brown to add Jaylen Samuels, who gets the start in the flex this week.

UPDATE(x2): With Robbie Gould doubtful for Monday night, Rascal has dropped him to add Mason Crosby.

Week 10 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB Marlon Mack
WR Julio Jones
WR Golden Tate
TE Darren Waller
RB Jaylen Samuels
K Mason Crosby
DEF New Orleans Saints

Bark Force

Current Record: (3-6, 5th place)

Bark Force may finally have their quarterback back this week, as Patrick Mahomes has a chance of starting, so Bark Force immediately lists him as the starter over Matthew Stafford. With DeAndre Hopkins on bye, Stefon Diggs moves up in the rotation, leaving the flex spot open. They had a choice of David Montgomery or Todd Gurley for the start, and ended up going with Montgomery, as he has a far easier matchup against the Lions than Gurley in Pittsburgh. Finally, they make a change at backup receiver, dropping Terry McLaurin to add A.J. Green, who may be returning in the near future.

Week 10 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)

QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Aaron Jones
RB Nick Chubb
WR Tyler Lockett
WR Stefon Diggs
TE Hunter Henry
RB David Montgomery
K Justin Tucker
DEF Buffalo Bills

Tug of War

Current Record: (3-6, 4th place)

Leonard Fournette goes on bye this week, allowing the depth of Tug of War to be showcased, as they just casually bring Micheal Thomas and Cooper Kupp back into the lineup. Derrick Henry's great matchup against the Chiefs means Melvin Gordon remains on the bench, as they really just haven't had the need to start the man they traded so much to pick up. Drew Brees gets the starting quarterback job from Dak Prescott as he prepares to face the awful Atlanta Falcons, and Tug of War drops Jason Myers to pick up the Ravens defense, who start over the Bears as they face the winless Bengals. Speaking of Cincinnati, with so much depth at running back, Tug of War lets go of Joe Mixon to stash Kareem Hunt, who makes his Browns debut this week. Finally, with Zach Ertz on bye, they will take a chance on Jack Doyle, who hasn't done much this year but does face the Dolphins.

Week 10 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)

QB Drew Brees
RB Saquon Barkley
RB Derrick Henry
WR Michael Thomas
WR Chris Godwin
TE Jack Doyle
WR Cooper Kupp
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (5-4, 3rd place)

With Deshaun Watson on bye, it's Kyler Murray's time to shine, as the rookie QB gets his first start for Tailwaggerz. They'll hope to have Alvin Kamara back this week, listing him as the flex starter, with the backup option being David Johnson, who also has a good chance to return. Evan Engram declared he would be out this week, so Tailwaggerz dropped spot starter Jaylen Samuels to add Jared Cook, who has a soft couple of games against Atlanta and Tampa Bay upcoming. They exchanged Chiefs running backs, dropping LeSean McCoy to bring back one of last year's heroes, Damien Williams, and will stream in the Colts defense this week as they host Miami.

Week 10 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Kyler Murray
RB Chris Carson
RB Josh Jacobs
WR Tyreek Hill
WR Odell Beckham
TE Jared Cook
RB Alvin Kamara
K Harrison Butker
DEF Indianapolis Colts

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (6-3, 2nd place)

The win over Rare Woofs was nice, but Emma is still left in a very tough spot. D.J. Chark is on bye, and signs are pointing towards Le'Veon Bell being out this week, so she has to make some difficult moves. Austin Ekeler takes Bell's spot in the lineup, while Emmanuel Sanders gets the start in the flex spot. In case Bell does play this week, she can start him over Sanders, which could be a tough call. With the Patriots on bye, the Vikings defense gets the start and James White was dropped for Devin Singletary, who was electric against the Redskins. She had to make another tough call at quarterback, where Russell Wilson was the main reason she won last week, but he has a much more difficult matchup against the 49ers than Lamar Jackson has against the Bengals. Ultimately, she'll stick with Wilson this week, but that could be a massive mistake. The final and most difficult situation is at tight end, where George Kittle is a massive question mark this week. She has a great backup in Austin Hooper, but he plays early on Sunday while Kittle goes on Monday night, leaving her with a massive conundrum. Once again, she decided to stick with her starter, but we'll see how things develop later in the week.

UPDATE: With Le'Veon Bell back in practice, she has brought him back into the starting lineup and has sent Austin Ekeler back to the bench.

UPDATE(x2): With George Kittle doubtful for Monday night, Leaping Girl will start Austin Hooper this week.

Week 10 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Russell Wilson
RB Le'Veon Bell
RB Mark Ingram
WR Mike Evans
WR Keenan Allen
TE Austin Hooper
WR Emmanuel Sanders
K Zane Gonzalez
DEF Minnesota Vikings

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (7-2, 1st place)

Rare Woofs has Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Carlos Hyde, Alshon Jeffery and Courtland Sutton all out on bye this week, which is not ideal especially after suffering their second loss of the year. At quarterback, they went in a completely new direction, dropping Philip Rivers to add Jameis Winston, who gets the start for the league's best team this week. They also bring back Davante Adams, but leave him in the flex spot in case of a setback. Wil Lutz returns to start at kicker, while Joey Slye was replaced by Adam Vinatieri as the backup. Finally, they dropped Jeffery to pick up Derrius Guice, who will return from IR next week.

Week 10 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Jameis Winston
RB Christian McCaffrey
RB Dalvin Cook
WR Amari Cooper
WR Kenny Golladay
TE Travis Kelce
WR Davante Adams
K Wil Lutz
DEF San Francisco 49ers

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
