The Dog League: Week 11 Review(2019 Season)

Rare Woofs looks for another miracle while Emma duels with Bark Force in Week 11 of the Dog League. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Game 1: Tug of War vs Tailwaggerz

After a season of inconsistent play, Tailwaggerz had a great chance to rebound from a tough loss to Rare Woofs, take down the red hot Tug of War and keep their chance at one of the top two spots alive. All of that sounds great on paper, but Deshaun Watson(3.96 points). Their star quarterback's worst game of the year set the tone for a really tough day for Tailwaggerz, with the high being the spot start of Michael Gallup(23.8 points) and a return to form for Alvin Kamara(22.2 points), and the low being the performances of Watson and the Panthers defense(2 points). Cap that off with an early injury to Tyreek Hill(0 points), and Tailwaggerz never really had a chance. Tug of War got another easy win thanks to Dak Prescott(31.56 points), Michael Thomas(25.4 points) and Zach Ertz(18.4 points) as three of the best in their position certainly played like it. They do have to be concerned over the continued struggles of Cooper Kupp(8.3 points), but this team remains incredibly deep and is beginning to look like a contender for their third Dog League title.

Final: Tug of War(137.06) - Tailwaggerz(92.66)

Game 2: Ridiculous Rascals vs Rare Woofs

This seemed like a complete mismatch on paper, as last played first with Rare Woofs seemingly a team of destiny after their insane comeback last week. But nothing in the Dog League is ever truly certain, and as the day went on, poor performances from top Rare Woofs players poured in. First was Amari Cooper(6.8 points), who struggled with injuries, and then Tom Brady(8.54 points) was quiet for the second game in a row, followed by a poor showing from last minute starter Tevin Coleman(9.1 points). Rascal's recent moves paid off, with Courtland Sutton(18.82 points) going off against his former team and spot starter Jimmy Garoppolo(29.66 points) shocking everyone with a brilliant showing in place of Aaron Rodgers. Christian McCaffrey(30.1 points) kept Rare Woofs in it, but as Sunday afternoon turned to Sunday evening, Rare Woofs were surely dead and buried. But at the last possible second, a freak touchdown of the 49ers defense(19 points) seemed almost like a gift from the fantasy gods, allowing Travis Kelce(22.2 points) to bring home the dub on Monday night. Another unbelievable win for Rare Woofs, who somehow find a way to claim their ninth win, tying the record for most wins in a season by a Dog League team with still three games to play. It's a heartbreaking defeat for Rascal, who now falls to two games behind Tug of War and Tailwaggerz and his playoff prospects look very bleak.

Final: Ridiculous Rascals(129.98) - Rare Woofs(137.44)

Game 3: Leaping Girl vs Bark Force

This was always expected to be a close game, and for most of Sunday, it absolutely was. Emma got off to an early lead thanks to Lamar Jackson(33.48 points) but a poor showing from Devin Singletary(8.9 points) opened the door. Stefon Diggs(23.1 points) recovered from his recent struggles to get Bark Force back in it, and Todd Gurley(20.3 points) put together one of his best games of the year to knock the door wide open. Heading into Monday night, Bark Force held a narrow five point lead as the game came down to Patrick Mahomes and Hunter Henry versus Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen. All signs pointed towards Bark Force holding the lead and finally getting a win, but after kickoff in Estadio Azteca, all bets were off. Mahomes(15.18 points) wasn't quite up to his usual standards, and now opportunity knocked for Emma. When she needed it most, she kept right up to pace with Rare Woofs, as Ekeler(21.2 points) and Allen(21.1 points) proved why she had put so much faith in them, as Leaping Girl earned her eight win of the year. It's the first time Emma has ever won at least eight games in a season, meaning it is her first winning season since joining the Dog League, the only team left without one. It's also her fourth win in a row, as her three month long chase to catch Rare Woofs continues.

Final: Leaping Girl(144.08) - Bark Force(135.18)

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...
