Henry's Universe Mode(Season 5): Elimination Chamber 2020

For nearly half a year, "The Fiend" has terrorized Monday nights. Through every challenge, this demonic alter-ego of Bray Wyatt has proved to be unstoppable, holding onto the Universal Championship with an iron grip. Tonight, Raw GM Paul Heyman intends to prepare one man to take his brand back. He will send six of the red brand's best inside the punishing and intimidating Elimination Chamber to do battle, with the hope that whomever survives will have picked up the skills necessary to finally take the champion out for good. That victor could be Heyman's own client, Brock Lesnar, who won the World Heavyweight Title twice and made his mark by laying out everyone else with an F-5. It could be Kevin Owens, who main evented WrestleMania last year as WWE Champion, or it could be the duplicitous Randy Orton, who held that belt twice as well. It could be Aleister Black, who lost the Universal Championship to "The Fiend" back at No Mercy, or it could be Roman Reigns, who has never held a world title in Universe Mode, just missing out on his chance at last year's 'Mania after interference by Jon Moxley. Finally, Hiroshi Tanahashi, a legend in New Japan Pro Wrestling, could emerge triumphant tonight to cement himself as a true global attraction. No matter who wins this match, only one will be victorious, and only one will be punching his ticket to WrestleMania.

Charlotte Flair(c) vs Alexa Bliss vs Becky Lynch vs Naomi vs Ronda Rousey vs Toni Storm- Raw Women's Championship Match

Naomi and Toni Storm kicked this match off, exchanging some very slick reversals that earned the appreciation of the crowd. Ronda Rousey then entered, quickly taking both women down, before Becky Lynch exited her pod. These two old rivals stared each other down, ready to do battle once before, but they were quickly interrupted by Naomi and Toni, who delivered two dropkicks in stereo. Realizing they needed to take the biggest threats out, Naomi and Toni teamed up to eliminate Rousey, with Storm Zero as the finishing blow. They then began to go after Lynch, but Charlotte Flair's pod opened, and the Raw Women's Champion came to the rescue of her best friend. Flair managed to eliminate Naomi with a Spear, but Storm countered the Dis-arm-her from Lynch, rolling up the three-time Raw Women's Champion for a surprise three count! Enraged, Flair went right after Storm, as the two broke into a massive brawl, that ended with both launching each other through an empty pod! It was then that the final participant, Alexa Bliss, entered the match, and "Little Miss Bliss" was just ecstatic at the situation she was facing. Bliss took a moment to bow to the crowd, before telling the referee to be ready to present her with her new prize. She fetched Storm from the wreckage, rolling her into the ring for what was surely an easy elimination. But just before the third count, Storm kicked out! The crowd rallied behind the resilient Storm, who slowly made her way to her feet, still ready to fight. Unfortunately, the fight was short-lived, as Bliss put her down with a snap DDT. We were now down to two, and Bliss was all business, immediately heading to the outside to go after the champion after the three count was made. She dragged Flair by her hair back into the ring, and looked to setup another DDT with a kick to the gut. But Charlotte caught Alexa by the leg, leaving her off-balance and with no chance to avoid the big boot! The champion wasted no time, applying the Figure Eight, and after a few moments of fighting, Bliss was forced to tap.

Winner and still Raw Women's Champion: Charlotte Flair

AJ Styles and Ricochet vs The Authors of Pain

Divide and conquer was the name of the game for Akam and Rezar on this night, as they isolated "The Phenomenal One" early into this contest. They had obviously studied the Royal Rumble match where AJ was reticent to tag out, and were intent on taking full advantage. But Styles persevered, kicking out of the Last Chapter and dropping both big men with a Pele Kick. Now was the moment to tag, and this time, AJ had learned his lesson. Into the match came Ricochet, and "The One and Only" finished it off, ending Akam's night with a 630 senton.

Winners: AJ Styles and Ricochet

Post-Match

After the win, AJ Styles requested a microphone, intent on addressing his tag team partner. He reaffirmed that the loss at the Rumble was his fault, but he thought he had proved tonight that this old dog could still learn some new tricks. AJ offered a handshake, and Ricochet obliged, as two of the best athletes of their generations are now truly on the same page.

Backstage

We now went to the back, where Charlotte Flair was interviewed about her title defense earlier tonight. Before the champ could offer anything insightful, she was interrupted by Women's Royal Rumble winner Nia Jax, her challenger at WrestleMania IV. Jax said that, after watching the Elimination Chamber match, she now had a gameplan, a way to ensure victory in their title match. What does "The Force of Greatness" have up her sleeve?

Backstage (Pt. 2)

Moments before their respective title matches, the three members of The Elite met up for a final conference. All three men seemed confident, but that swagger was shattered by the arrival of Paul Heyman. The Raw General Manager informed the trio that no managerial help would be allowed for the following two matches, on pain of suspension. Kenny, Matt and Nick looked distraught, but there was no time to process this development, as Pete Dunne's music hit.

Kenny Omega(c) vs Pete Dunne- United States Championship Match

Frustrated at the news he had just received, Kenny Omega was in no playful mood for this one, going right after his challenger. That suited Pete Dunne just fine, as "The Bruiserweight" was more than willing to throw down, with both men knocking lumps out of each other. The flight spilled to the floor, where Dunne smashed the champion's head off the ring post. Omega responded with a V-Trigger, and both men collapsed to the mat. The champ was first to find his feet, but couldn't complete the One Winged Angel. Dunne wiggled free and hit an X-Plex for a near fall. Looking to finish the match off, Dunne connected with a forearm shot, spinning Omega into position for the Bitter End, but without the referee noticing, Omega wrenched his foot straight up into Dunne's groin. The challenger doubled over, and Omega took advantage of the moment, hitting the One Winged Angel for the win. By hook or by crook, Kenny Omega remains the US titleholder heading into WrestleMania.

Winner and still United States Champion: Kenny Omega

The Revival(c) vs The Young Bucks- Two out of Three Falls Match for the Raw Tag Team Championships

Having watched their buddy pick up a win, Matt and Nick Jackson now seemed to have regained the confidence they lost after Heyman's announcement, wrestling a loose and playful style to start this one. The crowd loved the challengers' grandstanding and hotdogging, but the champions didn't, and struck first. Matt Jackson spent a little too long setting up a moonsault, eating canvas on his flight back down to Earth, before being dropped with a Shatter Machine to put Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder one fall up. Once again, it seemed like The Revival had The Young Bucks' number, and now they closed in on victory. Matt was brought back to consciousness by some vicious attacks to his right leg, with the champions looking to set up Dawson's inverted figure four. Before the hold could be applied, however, Nick Jackson charged back into the ring. He turned the tide, laying out Dawson with a superkick and forcing Wilder to tap out to the Sharpshooter. Now the match was all even, but the challengers had the numbers game in their favor with Matt Jackson recovering. The brothers combined for the More Bang for Your Buck, but the combination of moves took a little too long to execute, and Dawson was able to break up the pin. Matt and Nick attempted dual superkicks, but the champions side-stepped, and both charged Matt, knocking him out of the ring. Now on his own, Nick Jackson was easy pickings, going down to a brainbuster and the Shatter Machine.

Winners and still Raw Tag Team Champions: The Revival

Aleister Black vs Brock Lesnar vs Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns- #1 Contender's Match for the Universal Championship

This match began in a very interesting fashion, as Kevin Owens and Randy Orton were the starting pair. Both former world champions had formed an alliance, along with Roman Reigns, during the build to the match, and after a few attempts to hash things out, elected not to fight each other. Instead, they awaited the first man to leave his pod, who would be "The Beast Incarnate", Brock Lesnar. Owens and Orton had no issue going after Lesnar after his attack on the go-home show, but they couldn't get much going, over-powered at every turn. Brock took both men to Suplex City, before Roman Reigns was released from his pod, delivering an impactful Spear to eliminate the match's biggest threat. Another ceasefire appeared to be upcoming, but Orton snuck in to drop Reigns with an RKO for an elimination! KO was furious with "The Viper", though there was no time to work out their differences, as Hiroshi Tanahashi entered. Tanahashi managed to counter an RKO, nailing a running Sling Blade before finishing Randy off with a High Fly Flow. That now left Kevin Owens out-numbered, as Aleister Black entered the match last. Owens, however, was always a few steps ahead, and while Tanahashi was still recovering, went right after Black, jumping him as he exited his pod. With Aleister momentarily laid out, Owens then eliminated Tanahashi with a Package Piledriver, bringing it down to two. Aleister Black and Kevin Owens, the last two men to main event a WrestleMania, would now face off to determine who would receive a world title match at "The Grandest Stage of Them All". In the end, it would be Black's motivation to get another shot at "The Fiend" that led him to victory, bludgeoning Owens with one devastating strike after the other, before finishing him off with the Black Mass.

Winner: Aleister Black

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
