Snow-mageddon 2021

It's been over a week since I last posted here, which is unfortunate but it's not like extended breaks from posting are uncommon for me. This time, it was largely out of my hands. I don't think anyone in the US is unaware of this, but a large majority of southern states have just been run over by freezing cold and near endless snow. I'm not sure how much I mentioned this when it happened, but I moved to Oklahoma in late April/early May 2018, putting me right in the center of this winter storm. Fortunately, our house hasn't lost power yet like many have further south in Texas, but I've been busy with lots of tasks on the ranch where we live, bringing out tons of water and food for our horse and two mini donkeys. I've just been worrying about getting everyone through this more than anything else, and while I wanted to post here, I thought it would be easier to wait until the situation was closer to being resolved. Thankfully, we're approaching that point now, with temperatures above freezing in the coming days, so I'm beginning to turn my focus back to here.

The last project I was working on before my break was NXT Takeover: Rival for my Universe Mode, though I had only written the intro. As such, I'm just going to scrap that and call a halt to Henry's Universe Mode content, at least for now. I think I want to go back to reviewing some WWE pay-per-views, especially with the Network now in it's final month of operation, at least in this country. My last review was SummerSlam 2002, and I plan to pick up right from there, with Unforgiven up next. Before I get to that review, though, I plan on watching every Raw and SmackDown during the build, to get a better idea of what the product looks like through each month. This means more work on my part, and I don't know if it's something I want to commit to beyond just that one review, we'll see if it improves my content first. It could take me a few days to get around to writing that review, so some patience will be required, but I'll try to get it out as fast as I can.

I hope everyone out there is staying safe, whether you're in a similar situation to me or not, and I hope to see you here again for Unforgiven 2002, featuring Brock Lesnar defending his newly won WWE Championship against The Undertaker.

Latest Update on new puppy

As you may well know from my mom's posts, there is a handsome puppy in the house. His name is Rascal, which appropriately fits him. Before Tuesday, he'd never had much problem with the crate, something I found interesting. He'd also never experienced anxiety issues when people came and left. Then yesterday, my dad and I were standing in the driveway organizing things for a trip to Goodwill. All of a sudden, Rascal freaked out. Some history behind the newest member of our family. Rascal was a stray in Hollister, when CARE, a rescue organization, found him. At this time Rascal was estimated to be about 2 months old, the age of a puppy when you first get them. He went to another family, who had him for quite a while, around 5 months. Then, without explanation, this family moved to Ohio, surrendering Rascal. CARE once again had him and his crazy antics for about a month. Rascal's name was changed to Boots in his time with CARE, but he wouldn't answer to that name. He ...

Henry's Universe Mode: 2017 WWE Draft

We are here today to conduct the first ever WWE Draft, where Raw and SmackDown competitors will learn the fates heading into Season 3 of Henry's Universe Mode. In this post, I will give an explanation of the rules, before unveiling each draft pick and giving you my thoughts. Enjoy! Rules -Each brand will have five draft picks, ten picks total. -Champions are not eligible to be drafted. -Tag teams/stables can be drafted as a unit or individuals, depending on what the GM wants and what the wrestler wants. -Thanks to winning Brand Warfare, SmackDown will get the first pick, while Raw will get the last pick. The 2017 WWE Draft begins..........right now! Pick #1- SmackDown selects Brock Lesnar What a way to start of the draft, as the Beast Incarnate in heading to Tuesday Nights. Since losing to Samoa Joe a few weeks ago on Raw, we haven't seen anything from Brock Lesnar. This move will certainly have most of the SmackDown roster looking over their shoulder. ...

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
