It's the biggest event of the Summer, because Summerslam has finally arrived. Let's take a look at Part 1 of the card. Summerslam 2018 Card Jason Jordan(c) vs Pete Dunne- United States Championship Match In the first confrontation between champion and challenger, The Bruiserweight shut Jason Jordan up, immediately delivering a Bitter End. Pete Dunne will hope his straight forward aggressive approach will win him the championship, while Jason Jordan will hope for revenge to start the show. John Cena vs Samoa Joe On SmackDown, John Cena finally ended his losing streak, beating Rey Mysterio in a competitive match. Afterward, Samoa Joe looked to get revenge on Rey for beating him a number one contender's match, but Cena made the save. Helping out the luchadore, Cena would assist Mysterio in hitting Joe with a 619. An angry Samoa Joe quickly got revenge, taking Rey out in a vicious backstage assault, as Cena was too late to make the save this time. Cena made the...

If there's one thing I've learned from watching American Dad as long as I have, it's never to underestimate just how weird this show can be. This episode features a mythical sea creature, a talking sun and bike riding, and tries to make all of the random elements fit together. Does it work? Not really. "The Legend of Old Ulysses" opens with a fun, folksy intro, as we learn the tale of Old Ulysses, featuring many random details about the creature's origins. If this style had stuck for the rest of the episode, I think it would've really helped it stand out, but sadly not. Stan and Steve are going for their trip to Possum Lake, and Steve makes Snot jealous by bragging about all the great times he and his father have had there. Snot then enlists Tuttle's help(via an extended Sleepless in Seattle parody), and the duos end up facing off in competition. NXT Takeover: Brooklyn Card The Ascension(c) vs The Street Profits- NXT Tag Team Championship Match Konnor and Viktor's first challenge as tag champs comes in the form of The Street Profits. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have been slowly gaining momentum and fan support on NXT, thanks to their incredible athleticism and confident swagger. Dawkins and Ford are certainly not to be taken lightly, and should prove a good test for the new champions. In celebration of American Dad's 250th episode, the show once again goes completely off the rails in an episode that was probably written by someone on literally every single drug in the world. It's also an incredible episode, easily the best since I started reviewing this show. Right away, "Persona Assistant" has some incredible gags to start things off. First we get a look at all of Roger's different personas in action, ranging from an ostrich-riding serial killer to a newborn baby, somehow. This transitions seamlessly to interrupting the show's opening musical number, as Roger's workload causes him to miss out on his verse. We get the central conflict of the episode very quickly, as Roger has a stress related tumor and Stan is forced to take over managing his personas.
