Jason Jordan(c) vs Pete Dunne- United States Championship Match

This match started slow, as both men traded a lot of submission holds and worked body parts. But the pace would quicken when Pete Dunne reversed an attempt at the ankle lock, and from there it was counter after counter to the finish. Finally, Dunne hit the Bitter End to end Jason Jordan's title reign.

Winner and the NEW United States Champion: Pete Dunne

John Cena vs Samoa Joe

John Cena gave Samoa Joe everything he could handle here at Summerslam, showing the fighting spirit and incredible resiliency that he is so known for. The Samoan Submission Machine did manage to apply the Coquina Clutch, but Cena fought his way free with a headbutt. Cena's demise ultimately was his inability to hit the Attitude Adjustment, as Joe countered the move three separate times. Finally, Joe dropped Cena with a Muscle Buster, and this time forced Cena to pass out to the Coquina Clutch.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Post-Match

After the match, Joe was determined to put Cena down for good. He cleared off an announce table, and despite protests from the ref, put the Leader of the Cenation through the table with an Island Driver! As medical officials tended to Cena, Joe walked away with a visible smirk on his face.

The Revival(c) vs The Bar- Raw Tag Team Championship Match

Cesaro and Sheamus were the aggressors for most of this match, hitting most of the big moves including a Brogue Kick from the Celtic Warrior. But Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder were so crafty, continuing to find ways to stay alive. Eventually, they found an opening to hit the Shatter Machine to Sheamus, as Cesaro was still down following a cheap shot and the three count was made.

Winners and still Raw Tag Team Champions: The Revival

Asuka(c) vs Kairi Sane- SmackDown Women's Championship Match

On this night, Asuka showed every part of what makes her such an incredible champion. The Empress kicked out of not one but two Insane Elbows, as Kairi was in a state of shock. Asuka fought right back into the match, nearly putting Sane away, as Kairi just barely escaped the Asuka Lock. With both women on their last legs, the Pirate Princess got vicious, nailing Asuka with two big forearms, a running knee and a spinning backfist. For a third time, the Insane Elbow connected, and this time, it was enough to crown a new champion.

Winner and the NEW SmackDown Women's Champion: Kairi Sane

Seth Rollins(c) vs Braun Strowman- Universal Championship Match

Whatever plan Seth Rollins had, it quickly went out the window, as this match was all Braun Strowman at the start. It was nearly over immediately, as the champion just kicked out of the running powerslam. Rollins reached deep, kipping up and going to work. Seth's quick strikes began to have an impact, as Strowman was starting to slow down. But the Monster Among Men turned the tide with a big right hand, before carrying Rollins to the top rope, looking for a big powerslam. But Seth countered, and hit a ring-shaking superplex! Both men were down, and the referee was down too.....

Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lima, Delta, SHIELD!

It's Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns! The Shield are back, and here to help Rollins retain the gold! They rushed down to the ring, before assisting Rollins to deliver the signature triple powerbomb! Seth went to wake up the official................and turned into a Superman Punch from Roman Reigns! What in the hell is going on? Dirty Deeds from Dean Ambrose! Ambrose laid one massive arm of Strowman on top of Rollins, and the referee counted to three. Why did The Shield just cost their own brother the Universal Championship?

Winner and the NEW Universal Champion: Braun Strowman

American Dad "Twinanigans" Review

It's been a while since the last Steve and Roger episode, and this week reminded me why that's such a classic American Dad pairing. This is a genuinely fun episode, filled with some great one liners and even a great callback to the show's past. "Twinanigans" centers around the heretofore unmentioned acting careers of Roger and Steve, who twinned it up as the Smith Brothers. I'm not going to question whether this backstory actually makes sense to the overall timeline; no one watches American Dad for continuity. Steve had to give up acting to attend kindergarten, and wants to give Roger a second chance at greatness. The two head to auditions, where Steve impresses and Roger blows it. It's here the episode kinda misfires, as it's never made abundantly clear why Roger struggles so much at acting. Is he just trying too hard, does he have some form of stage fright, does he not even know what acting is? This part of the story is just never explained, w...

Henry's Pay-Per-View Reviews: ECW Heatwave 1998

As the world collectively loses it's mind over the coronavirus(this could be a fun intro to look back on in the future), the only sanity that can be found is in the ring. Let's take a look today at what is often considered ECW's finest outing, Heatwave '98. - Jokes aside, everyone should stay safe out there. I know it's easy to panic about these mass outbreaks, and I've certainly felt very nervous about everything I've heard and read over the past week. But I think we all need some fun in our lives right now, and this show is the epitome of distraction. - The opening contest is one of the highlights of the night, as Jerry Lynn takes on Justin Credible. Credible has an entire entourage in his corner, including Chastity, Jason and Nicole Bass, and their involvement in this match at times bordered on excessive. But the match begins to hit it's peak when Lynn puts Credible through a table with a hurricanrana, and it's all fantastic from...

Curious Crab

One Monday night my mom looked into my crabitat and found that a crab had climbed into one of my fake trees. It was in the top branch. I looked in later, and found that the crab had fallen out of the tree. I hope he is okay. What a day!
