Henry's Universe Mode #173: SmackDown Live

First off, would just like to say that there will be no Raw or NXT this week. I have a couple of other things I'm working on, so it'll just be this and Money in the Bank in terms of Universe Mode content. However, I will have a couple of different posts coming out over the next few days, so I hope that makes up for it.

With Money in the Bank just five days away, tonight all six men square off in three random singles matches. Who will have the momentum heading into this Sunday's ladder match? Plus, it's a Backlash rematch, as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson face Cesaro and Roman Reigns, with the winners challenging the Wyatt Family at Money in the Bank.

Dana Brooke vs Charlotte

With an announced title match against Bayley looming, the champion seemed to be a bit nervous, as Charlotte was accompanied to the ring by the massive Nia Jax. The Queen seemed focused not to lose another non-title match, and was absolutely dominant throughout this match. Even Emma's interference didn't make a difference, as Dana Brooke fell prey to Natural Selection.

Winner: Charlotte

Two More Championship Matches Announced

This Sunday at Money in the Bank, The Game will look for revenge, as Triple H challenges AJ Styles for the WWE Championship. And per the request of The Viper, Randy Orton will face Sami Zayn one more time, with the Intercontinental Championship on the line.

Big Cass vs John Cena

After defeating the Big Show to earn his spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match, John Cena had a lot of confidence taking on Big Cass, who requested that Enzo Amore stay in the back. Both of these men have tremendous power games, and this was a back and forth affair. Ego on the part of Cena eventually cost him, as he passed up several opportunities to get the win, falling prey to the East River Crossing, as Cass picked up a huge win.

Winner: Big Cass

The Miz vs Fandango

There was definitely a lot of ego in this match, as The Miz took on Fandango. Despite their cocky attitudes, both men had a lot of support from this crowd. Both men did their best to play to the crowd, exchanging big moves and striking some poses. It was Miz who would make the costly mistake, as he went to lock in the Figure 4. Fandango countered into a series of signature moves, hitting a Falcon Arrow, then a big leg sweep and finally the Last Dance leg drop to put The Miz down for three.

Winner: Fandango

Kenny Omega vs Tye Dillinger

Two of SmackDown Live's rising stars went head to head in what seemed like it could be a classic, as Kenny Omega faced Tye Dillinger. There was no period of rest throughout this match, as both men just exchanged big moves one right after another. Dillinger looked time and time again to fire up, to connect with his signature offense, but Omega stopped each and every time. The Cleaner went low when Tye attempted a neckbreaker, unbeknownst to the official, and then put him away with a vicious knee to the head.

Winner: Kenny Omega

Cesaro and Roman Reigns vs Gallows and Anderson- #1 Contender's Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships

After facing off once before at Backlash, neither team wasted time going after each other. The story of this match was whether or not the teamwork of an established team like Gallows and Anderson could earn them a title match at Money in the Bank. Early on, it looked like the answer was no. Cesaro and Reigns controlled the pace and used their combined talents to get a few near falls. The leader of The Club, AJ Styles, tried to interject himself, but Reigns knocked him off the apron. This incensed Gallows and Anderson, and this match quickly turned into a mauling. They destroyed the Swiss Superman and the Big Dog, finally looking like their old selves. It was as simple as it could get to connected with a Magic Killer to Cesaro for the win to cement themselves as a top tag team.

Winners: Gallows and Anderson

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
