Henry's Universe Mode #214: Raw

Welcome back to Raw, where we are two weeks away from Halloween Havoc. Tonight, Rusev goes one on one with the arrogant Curt Hawkins, Jason Jordan looks to begin his singles career, and #DIY face off with the New Day.

Rusev vs Curt Hawkins

The former United States Champion had been somewhat quiet since losing his championship at No Mercy, but an hour before Raw started, he stated that he would have an announcement following this match. Rusev had to get through Curt Hawkins first, and Hawkins looked ready for this opportunity, firing himself up in the corner. He probably should've just stayed there, as this was pure domination for the Bulgarian Brute, who tossed Hawkins around the ring, finishing it off with the Accolade in mere minutes.

Winner: Rusev

Rusev's Announcement

The Super Athlete then took to the mic. At No Mercy, Shinsuke Nakamura got lucky, and he stole what rightfully belongs to Rusev. But Rusev's fans should not be worried- this travesty of justice will not go unpunished. At Halloween Havoc, he will be using his rematch clause, and to avoid any controversy, this time he will face Shinsuke in a two out of three falls match.

Jason Jordan vs Dolph Ziggler

Both members of American Alpha have made it clear that they will be moving onto singles competition, but would still be supporting each other, as Chad Gable was in Jason Jordan's corner for this match. Early on, we saw perhaps the future of Raw, as Jordan looked very good against an experienced competitor in Dolph Ziggler. A high impact back suplex neckbreaker almost score the upset win, but the Show-Off kicked out at two. Ziggler rallied from there, eventually getting the win with a Zig-Zag, but it was a good first showing for Jordan tonight.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

The Rubber Match

Before the main event, Raw GM Shane McMahon had an announcement for Halloween Havoc. After Finn Balor's big win over Kurt Angle last week, he has granted Balor another shot at Braun Strowman, and the Universal Championship at the event. However, just like Rusev-Nakamura, it's time to finally settle the score between both men. So at Halloween Havoc, Balor and Strowman will meet in Universe Mode's first ever Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.

#DIY vs The New Day

This was a big opportunity for both teams, as the winners of this match would meet The Revival at Halloween Havoc in a number one contender's match. Tommaso Ciampa started off the match for DIY, and did the bulk of the work throughout. It appeared that Ciampa and Gargano had decided that Kofi was the weak link of the New Day, as they focused on him, delivering two devastating superplexes to the floor. Kingston did his best to rally, but was fighting from underneath for a long period of time. Finally, he got an opening, as Ciampa whiffed on a knee and then was knocked down with the Trouble in Paradise. Big E was tagged in, and went wild, taking out both members of DIY as the Pittsburgh crowd cheered him on. Only Tommaso was left, and he took the Big Ending to bring an end to an entertaining main event, as the New Day advance to Halloween Havoc.

Winners: The New Day

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
