The Dog League: Week 15 Preview(2017 Playoffs)

It's a different look for these preview posts for the Dog League this week, as we enter the playoffs. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Game 1: (1) Tug of War vs (4) Tailwaggerz

Tailwaggerz

It was a very nice, although ultimately useless, win for Tailwaggerz last week, as they handed Ridiculous Rascals their third loss in a row. The games don't come much bigger than this, as they square off with the peaking Tug of War in the first round of the playoffs. Heading into this week, they made two moves, adding Kenyan Drake for Adrian Peterson and the Ravens defense for the Patriots. Both will start, with Drake replacing Robby Anderson, while the returning Zach Ertz takes his starting spot back from Evan Engram.

Week 15 Starting Line-Up

QB Tom Brady
RB Le'Veon Bell
RB Jordan Howard
WR Mike Evans
WR Michael Thomas
TE Zach Ertz
RB Kenyan Drake
K Wil Lutz
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Tug of War

The defending champions of the Dog League got some extra silverware last week, capturing their second regular season championship. The celebrations cannot last long, as they play Tailwaggerz this week, with even one mistake having the potential to take them out. Tug of War will bring Kareem Hunt back into the starting line-up this week, as he replaces A.J. Green. They will also have a new defense, dropping the Seahawks for the Broncos.

Week 15 Starting Line-Up

QB Russell Wilson
RB Devonta Freeman
RB Todd Gurley
WR Julio Jones
WR Antonio Brown
TE Travis Kelce
RB Kareem Hunt
K Chris Boswell
DEF Denver Broncos

Game 2: (2) Ridiculous Rascals vs (3) Leaping Girl

Leaping Girl

Coming off of a disappointing loss to Tug of War to close the season, Leaping Girl will look to rebound in her first playoff game against the Ridiculous Rascals. She added two Panthers, dropping the injured Carson Wentz for Cam Newton and Kyle Rudolph for Greg Olsen, although neither is in line to start. She did bring DeMarco Murray into her line-up this week, benching Samaje Perine.

Week 15 Starting Line-Up

QB Drew Brees
RB LeSean McCoy
RB Alvin Kamara
WR Keenan Allen
WR DeAndre Hopkins
TE Jimmy Graham
RB DeMarco Murray
K Justin Tucker
DEF Jacksonville Jaguars

Ridiculous Rascals

In the midst of a three game losing streak, Ridiculous Rascals are suddenly in major trouble, as they will attempt to save their season this week against Leaping Girl. They will get Rob Gronkowski back this week, while Matthew Stafford earns a start over Dak Prescott. In terms of waiver moves, they made just one, dropping Alshon Jeffery for Jamaal Williams, although he is not in line to start.

UPDATE: Rascal has now dropped the Chargers defense for the Saints.

Week 15 Starting Line-Up

QB Matthew Stafford
RB Mark Ingram
RB Melvin Gordon
WR Adam Thielen
WR Brandin Cooks
TE Rob Gronkowski
WR Tyreek Hill
K Kai Forbath
DEF New Orleans Saints

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

With Fastlane just under two weeks away, we have a big night in store here on Raw. The debutants held nothing back, going straight after Itami and Balor, who were caught off guard. Both Ciampa and Gargano showed off impressive offense, keeping the champs on their heels. Balor whiffed on the Coup de Grace, and Gargano locked in the Gargano Escape for a huge debut win, catapulting #DIY to the top of the Raw tag team division.
