The Revolution: Episode 13(Showing Off)

Apologies for no post of The Revolution last week, as I was kind of burned out on wrestling thanks to WrestleMania Weekend. I'm back again this week, and to make up for it, I'm planning to put up another episode of The Revolution on either Thursday or Friday, so stay tuned for that.

Full Sail University is still buzzing for the ending to the last episode of NXT, as Bobby Roode defeated AJ Styles to become the number one contender to Cesaro's NXT Championship. Tonight, we see Dolph Ziggler take on Tye Dillinger for the second spot in the North American Championship ladder match at NXT Arrival. American Alpha must enter the Uso Penitentiary, as face Jimmy and Jey Uso with the winners taking on The Revival for the Tag Team Championships. Plus, an announcement from Triple H concerning the Women's Championship!

Dolph Ziggler vs Tye Dillinger

With the fans in Full Sail on his side, Tye Dillinger came out of the gates roaring, as he took down Dolph Ziggler with a Thesz Press and a middle rope blockbuster. The "Perfect Ten" has showed flashes of his potential in the past, but this was his best outing to date, as he looked to be rolling toward the North American Championship match. A right hand sent Ziggler to the floor, as Tye rallied the crowd into a loud series of "10" chants. This was an opening for Dolph, however, as he seemed unconcerned with the fans, re-entering the ring to attack Tye from behind. Ziggler then slowed the pace down, working the left arm of Dillinger, wearing down his opponent. This was an incredibly smart approach from Dolph, and it led him to connect with a Famouser. The attempted knock-out superkick was countered, as was an attempted jumping DDT, as Tye caught Dolph with a kick to the gut and the Perfect Ten facebuster! Dillinger retreated to the corner, leading another ten count, with the North American Championship in his sights....

Winner: Tye Dillinger
Finish: Tye Breaker

From his office, Triple H led us on a tour of NXT history. When the brand was first formed, it needed an identity, something to set it apart. From the very beginning, he wanted to push the envelope of what women's wrestling was capable of, something more than just pretty faces in a catalog. But change takes those who are willing to embrace, those that are willing to go above and beyond to reach the next level. And perhaps no one symbolized NXT's women's division than the Four Horsewomen. At NXT Arrival, to celebrate the crowning of a new Women's Champion, these four women will once again get the chance to take women's wrestling to the next level. Bayley, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte- who will be the new NXT Women's Champion?

American Alpha vs The Usos

With teams of this caliber, fighting in NXT's main event for a shot at tag team gold, you just knew this would be a classic, and the match lived up to the hype. From the start, this was a chaotic affair, with Chad Gable and Jason Jordan tossing around both Usos in the first minutes on the match, before Jimmy Uso went wild with a forearm spree. The Usos showcased some impressive technical wrestling, as Jimmy and Jey wore down Jordan with well placed elbows and kicks, but a pin after the Uso Splash was broken up by Chad Gable. He paid for it, as both Usos took flight, taking the former Olympian down with two consecutive suicide dives. Jey rolled Gable back into the ring, paying tribute to their uncle Umaga with a running hip attack. That set up a second Uso Splash, but Jordan ran interference, sacrificing himself to take out Jimmy Uso with a top rope german suplex, sending both men crashing to the canvas. Full Sail erupted with "Holy Sh**!" chants, but it wasn't over yet. Gable booted Jey in the head, before climbing to the top rope for a diving crossbody! Jey Uso stumbled into the opposite corner, in prime position for one of the most impressive moves in the world today....

Winners: American Alpha
Finish: O'Connor Roll into Bridging German Suplex(from Gable on Jey Uso)

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
