The Dog League; Week 16 Review(2018 Playoffs)

A new champion is crowned in Week 16 of the Dog League. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Fifth Place Game: #5 Tug of War(125.46) vs #6 Leaping Girl(97.84)

ANALYSIS

Deshaun Watson(36.46 points) led the way, as Tug of War waltzed to an easy win and the first pick in next year's draft. Struggling stars Alvin Kamara(22.5 points) and Zach Ertz(23 points) both delivered as well, providing more than enough secondary scoring. This is Leaping Girl's seventh consecutive playoff loss, with only Russell Wilson(28.54 points) scoring reasonably high. Now picking last in the 2019 Draft, the future is not bright for the perennial last place team.

Third Place Game: #1 Ridiculous Rascals(136.64) vs #3 Bark Force(116.42)

ANALYSIS

Ridiculous Rascals recovered face by demolishing Bark Force, as Antonio Brown(30.5 points) delivered his biggest game of the season. However, it was the last minute addition of Kyle Rudolph(24.2 points), added mostly as a joke around Christmas, who provided an incredible outburst of scoring. Bark Force got another big game out of Patrick Mahomes(28.22 points), as well as an outstanding effort from injury substitute Jamaal Williams(21.6 points), but it wasn't enough. The once odds-on favorite took a nosedive in both playoff games, and most now pick fifth next year, while Rascal receives the second pick.

Championship Game: #2 Tailwaggerz(115.5) vs #4 Rare Woofs(103.08)

ANALYSIS

Missing Todd Gurley, Rare Woofs were too inconsistent to get the job done. Players like Tarik Cohen(1.9 points), Rob Gronkowski(0 points) and the Broncos defense(1 point) all were at their worst. On the other hand, Andrew Luck(21.58 points) and Chris Carson(23.6 points) played well, and nearly pulled off the upset. For Tailwaggerz, waiver addition Ben Roethlisberger(29.6 points) and late starter Damien Williams(18 points) made them look like geniuses. Tailwaggerz have had an incredible season, as despite a slow start, losing their first two games, they bounced back to win seven in a row and they never looked back. After finishing last in the regular season twice in a row, they narrowly missed out on the regular season championship, but that matters very little. They took out the two expansion teams to claim their first title, becoming the first team other than Tug of War to do so. With this win, Tailwaggerz will go down as one of the best teams in Dog League history, consistently scoring over 90 points in almost every game. Here's your championship squad:

Tailwaggerz Final Roster

QB Ben Roethlisberger
QB Jared Goff
RB Damien Williams
RB Derrick Henry
RB Dalvin Cook
RB James Conner
RB David Johnson
RB Jaylen Samuels
WR T.Y. Hilton
WR Davante Adams
WR Alshon Jeffery
WR Tyler Lockett
TE Jared Cook
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Houston Texans

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

The debutants held nothing back, going straight after Itami and Balor, who were caught off guard. Both Ciampa and Gargano showed off impressive offense, keeping the champs on their heels. Balor whiffed on the Coup de Grace, and Gargano locked in the Gargano Escape for a huge debut win, catapulting #DIY to the top of the Raw tag team division.
