Later than expected, the WWE 2k16 Universe Mode is set to finally debut. Happy New Year, by the way. Sorry I haven't been that active, but I wanted to end the year on a positive note, and my first NXT Takeover recap was especially positive. Below is the outline for my universe mode, which will begin shortly.
Structure
The structure of this series is quite a bit different since I first discussed it, so this is pretty important. There will be three shows per in game week, RAW, Smackdown and NXT. Each show will have five matches, 4 shows per month with one pay per view. Once we get further into the series, I'll introduce more shows, brand-specific ppvs, NXT Takeovers and the like, but I want to make sure the series is going over well before then.
Shows
RAW
Titles- World Heavyweight, Intercontinental, World Tag Team, Women's(shared with Smackdown)
Airs On- Monday
Smackdown
Titles- WWE Championship, United States, WWE Tag Team, Women's(shared with RAW)
Airs On- Thursday
NXT
Titles- NXT Championship, Light Heavyweight, NXT Tag Team, NXT Women's
Airs On- Wednesday
As you can see, every show is equal in terms of titles. One world/major, one midcard, one tag team, and two women's titles. I would have had three, but I don't have a big enough starting roster of female wrestlers. Speaking of rosters, it will mainly start out as the default roster. There will be a few CAWS, but nothing outrageous. Most of them will be for NXT, as they are going to have a very small roster otherwise. Pretty much every new CAW will debut on NXT, except for guys like CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio, guys with plenty of WWE tenure. I would go into further detail, but like most of my series, it'll be easier to understand once you actually see the product.
Odds and Ends
I'm going to start a post with the list of champions and what not in this series once it starts....It should be easy enough to figure out, but every title will start vacant.......Most retired/dead wrestlers will be treated as such, with some exceptions(HBK, Edge, likely Mick Foley).....The universe mode itself will begin in April, right after Wrestlemania.......There is likely to never be a WWE draft.
So that's that. If I missed anything, it'll likely show up in the first post of this series. I'm looking forward to a great year, and hopefully this series will be going strong by the end of it.

(Edit: I've gotten enough female CAWS to give Smackdown the Divas Title, with Raw keeping the Women's Title.)
