I was going to put together an entire preview for this card, but Blogger freaked out and deleted all my work, which I have absolutely no desire to attempt to re-create. Instead, I'm just going to launch into the event itself and give you brief explanations of the build for matches as they happen. We're starting with the pre-show, consisting of two bouts from SmackDown and one from Raw. No need for a logo or a fancy intro or anything, it's a pre-show, no one needs pageantry. Let's go! Big E(c) vs Andrade "Cien" Almas vs Rusev vs Samoa Joe- Intercontinental Championship Match Rusev earned a title shot back at Fastlane, but in order to rid this contest of any New Day interference, had to team up with former IC Champion and ex-rival Andrade, plus the last challenger for the belt in Samoa Joe, to win a six man tag match and ensure Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods couldn't interfere. They each present a unique and intense style, and could easily put together a Match of the Year contender. Then, going on last is the collision between teacher and pupil, a dangerous psychopath against an unrelenting force of nature, as Tommaso Ciampa defends the NXT Championship against Keith Lee. For nearly half a year, "The Fiend" has terrorized Monday nights. Through every challenge, this demonic alter-ego of Bray Wyatt has proved to be unstoppable, holding onto the Universal Championship with an iron grip. Tonight, Raw GM Paul Heyman intends to prepare one man to take his brand back. He will send six of the red brand's best inside the punishing and intimidating Elimination Chamber to do battle, with the hope that whomever survives will have picked up the skills necessary to finally take the champion out for good. I'm back to Henry's Universe Mode now, I've been trying some different things recently, from my Madden 12 series to AEW reviews to see what might stick, and thus far, nothing has. Today, I'm here to tell you about the card for Raw's final stop before WrestleMania IV.  Elimination Chamber 2020 Card Charlotte Flair(c) vs Alexa Bliss vs Becky Lynch vs Naomi vs Ronda Rousey vs Toni Storm- Raw Women's Championship Match After Ruby Riott controlled the Raw women's division for much of last year, Charlotte Flair took the strap away from the leader of the Riott Squad with some assistance provided by Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey, two former champions in their own right. In exchange, Flair went to Raw GM Paul Heyman to negotiate two spots in this Chamber match for Lynch and Rousey. For Johnny Gargano, Fastlane represents the biggest night of his career. The man known as "Johnny Wrestling" has spent many years chasing the ultimate prize, and tonight, he puts everything on the line, including his career, on the line for one last shot at glory. Opposing Gargano is one of the most dominant men in Universe Mode history, Drew McIntyre. Drew is a former long reigning WWE and tag team champion, and won the 2020 Royal Rumble last month, eliminating former winner Samoa Joe. It's the final stop for SmackDown on the Road to WrestleMania, as the blue brand hosts Fastlane! Fastlane 2020 Card Andrade and Zelina vs Ravishing Rusev Day We kick things off with the first intergender match in Universe Mode history, and this is a feud that has certainly gotten heated. It began when Andrade "Cien" Almas got help from Zelina Vega to defeat Rusev in a Royal Rumble Qualification match, and that led to the return of Lana. 'The Ravishing Russian" went right after Vega to get revenge for her husband, and the two women would brawl multiple times across weeks of SmackDown. Edge made this tag match to try and calm things down, and also declared that the whichever man was on the victorious side would become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship, a belt which they both held recently. Part 2 of the 2020 Royal Rumble event features no Rumble match, but should be exciting nonetheless. On tap, we have the end of a war, an incredibly personal and likely extremely violent grudge match between Jon Moxley and Roman Reigns. Also, EC3 challenges for the Universal Championship, and CM Punk looks for redemption against Robert Roode, with the WWE title at stake!
