Henry's Universe Mode #213: NXT

After weeks of speculation, we have finally received some clarification of the NXT Championship situation. After Aleister Black left Brooklyn with the championship, Regal has yet to get in contact with the Dutch Destroyer. With no other options, NXT will crown a new champion at Halloween Havoc. Tonight, Adam Cole, Hideo Itami and Apollo Crews will compete in a triple threat match, with the winner to be a part of that championship match. Plus, Akira Tozawa gets a huge opportunity as he battles Cruiserweight Champion Neville.

Akira Tozawa vs Neville

NXT's newest Cruiserweight went straight into the deep end, as Akira Tozawa tried his hand against the Cruiserweight Champion. For the most part, Akira looked quite good in this match, using his power effectively against the smaller man and scoring a near fall on his beautiful snap german suplex. But for all his heart and fighting spirit, he was in there with one of the most dominant champions in Universe Mode, and it was only a matter of time before Neville rallied. The King of the Cruiserweights flew high with the Red Arrow to pick up another win.

Winner: Neville

Striking First

But that was not the end of Neville's night, as one of former victims, Roderick Strong, made his way to the ring. After some tense words were exchanged, Strong floored the champion with a right hand, before delivering the End of Heartache.

Hideo Itami vs Adam Cole vs Apollo Crews

With so much at stake, and three of NXT's best in the ring, you knew this had the chance to be a classic, and it delivered. The early portion of the match was a game of oneupsmanship between all three, as they took turns going on offense. Apollo's power, Hideo's strikes and Cole's athleticism made for a very well balanced match, with some very innovative moves. Itami got the first near fall of the match, when he came oh so close to putting Crews away with a big running knee. Hideo and Cole re-ignited their feud with a big exchange of forearms, that ended when Apollo took both men out with a flying crossbody. He connected with an enziguri to Cole, followed by a spin-out powerbomb. One, two, but Itami broke up the pinfall. The former NXT Champion paid for it, being laid out with three powerbombs to the floor. Apollo set his sights on the downed Cole, but the Panama City Playboy was playing possum. Shining Wizard to Crews, followed by the Florida Key. One, two, kick out! Hideo tried to re-enter the fray, leaping from the top rope. Superkick! One, two, another kick out! Full Sail exploded, as Cole was in complete shock, pounding the mat in frustration. He lifted Hideo to the top rope, looking for a superplex. Crews was back however, and took both men off the top with a double german superplex! The near unconscious Hideo then took a standing moonsault as well, and had nothing left.

Winner: Apollo Crews

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...
