Clash of Champions 2018 Card
Ricochet(c) vs Finn Balor- Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship
After a chaotic finish at Summerslam, Edge decided to give Finn Balor a shot to regain his championship, with all allies banned from ringside. Ricochet and AJ Styles teamed up to defeat the Balor Club's Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, allowing the new champion to choose the stipulation. He choose a ladder match, as these two men will face off in what should be an incredible contest.
Charlotte Flair vs Ember Moon
The Queen finally got back to winning ways two weeks ago, cheating to defeat Ember Moon on SmackDown. Ember didn't take long to challenge Charlotte to a rematch that will hopefully finish clean this time.
The Bludgeon Brothers(c) vs SAnitY- SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
Harper and Rowan did not get much time to celebrate winning the tag team titles, as they were attacked by recent NXT call-ups, SAnitY. The trio of Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain have gone straight to the top, using their numbers game to become number one contenders against The Usos.
Andrade "Cien" Almas vs Rey Mysterio
The past few weeks on SmackDown has seen El Idolo start to get back into championship contention, and feeling extremely confident, he called out the legendary Rey Mysterio for a match. Mysterio accepted, more than ready to prove he's still got it against a future star.
Kairi Sane(c) vs Asuka vs Sasha Banks- SmackDown Women's Championship Match
Asuka and Kairi Sane were more than ready to do battle once again following a verbal encounter, but they were interrupted by Sasha Banks. The Boss wants another shot at the gold, and picked up a huge non-title win over Sane thanks to accidental interference from Asuka, setting up a triple threat match.
Daniel Bryan vs Samoa Joe
Since Summerslam and his win over John Cena, Samoa Joe has been attempting to earn another WWE Championship match, but failed to work together with champion Drew McIntyre to defeat Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Edge has decided to give Joe another chance against the returning Daniel Bryan, who has not been seen since his high profile loss to McIntyre. We really don't know what emotional state Bryan will be in, but if he wants another title shot, he must defeat the Samoan Submission Machine.
Drew McIntyre(c) vs Sami Zayn- WWE Championship Match
Thanks to defeating McIntyre and Joe in the aforementioned tag match, Edge allowed the former tag team champion to choose who would challenge for the WWE Championship. After a week of discussion, Kevin Owens accepted, and a contract signing was scheduled. But at the signing, Sami Zayn shoved his best friend aside, and signed the contract instead! Zayn was unwilling to let this chance pass him by, declaring that he will be the next WWE Champion. Owens is obviously upset, but will have no choice but to sit back and watch as Sami attempts to be the man to dethrone the Scottish Psychopath.
