Henry's Universe Mode #120: Raw

With Fastlane just under two weeks away, we have a big night in store here on Raw. Sasha Banks looks to earn another title shot, the tag champs are in non-title action and in the main event, for the first time since winning the Royal Rumble, Samoa Joe is in action when he faces Mark Henry.

Itami and Balor vs #DIY

The tag champs were in action to open Raw, and their opponents were the debuting Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, #DIY. The debutants held nothing back, going straight after Itami and Balor, who were caught off guard. Both Ciampa and Gargano showed off impressive offense, keeping the champs on their heels. Balor whiffed on the Coup de Grace, and Gargano locked in the Gargano Escape for a huge debut win, catapulting #DIY to the top of the Raw tag team division.

Winners: #DIY

Roman Reigns vs Alberto Del Rio

Roman Reigns made his return to Raw after that hellacious Falls Count Anywhere match with Seth Rollins a few weeks ago, and the Big Dog looked to make a big impact. We haven't really seen Reigns in singles action too much in Universe Mode, and he was highly impressive against Alberto Del Rio. Reigns used his incredible power to toss Del Rio around the ring, finishing it off with a Spear.

After the match, Roman took a second to soak in a well-earned win when he was ambushed by Kevin Owens. KO laid into Reigns, hitting a vicious Pop-Up Powerbomb, and Kevin Owens made an impact of his own.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Enzo Amore vs Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose has shown a new side to himself over recent weeks, and we saw more of it against poor Enzo Amore. The Lunatic Fringe took Enzo apart with vicious offense, including a big DDT on the floor. When he couldn't put Enzo away, Ambrose beat the hell out of him with rights and lefts, forcing the official to step in and call off the contest.

Winner: Dean Ambrose

Sasha Banks and Asuka vs Bayley and Nikki Bella

Sasha Banks had it all to earn, as she would receive a Raw Women's Title shot with a win. Sasha and Asuka were forced to work together in this match, but that seemed to be in their favor, as they proved a good team. Nikki Bella was forced out of the match, as Bayley was forced to fight on her own for huge stretches of time. In the end, that caught up to her, as Asuka countered a Bayley-to-Belly into an Asuka Lock, and Bayley was forced to tap out. Sasha Banks now has her title match, but it was Asuka who beat the champ. What does this mean for the Raw women's division?

Winners: Sasha Banks and Asuka

Samoa Joe vs Mark Henry

We knew this would be a vicious, hard-hitting contest, and that was exactly what we got. Both men went right after each other, and pretty soon they were trading haymakers. Samoa Joe used his strikes and a big CCS enziguri to take Mark Henry down. The big man was not out, and used his power to send Joe reeling. A crawling headbutt and a big splash nearly put Joe away, but the Samoan Submission Machine was in huge danger. He tried to use some head games, rolling out of the ring, but Henry saw it coming. He caught Joe with a big World's Strongest Slam, and that was all she wrote.

Mark Henry may have just had the biggest win of his career, taking out the 2017 Royal Rumble winner. He had no time to celebrate, as Brock Lesnar charged into the ring. The Beast Incarnate was not going to allow Henry to have the spotlight, and took the big man to Suplex City. Lesnar delivered a big F-5 to close Raw standing tall.

Winner: Mark Henry

Mark Henry has sent Raw's main event scene into turmoil by defeating Samoa Joe, and now appears to have a target on his back. That's it for Raw, tune in tomorrow for SmackDown.

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
