The Dog League: Week 1 Preview(2018 Season)

With the start of a new NFL season right around the corner, it's time to enter the third season of Dog League play. This year we have two new teams joining the league, as two-time champions Tug of War face perhaps the stiffest competition yet. Are you ready for football? (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Tug of War

Two line-up changes in Week 1 for Tug of War, as they bring in Jordan Howard to the swing role to replace Devonta Freeman and Doug Baldwin was subbed out for Brandin Cooks, who has a potentially great game on Monday night against the Raiders.

Week 1 Starting Line-Up(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Kirk Cousins
RB Alvin Kamara
RB Saquon Barkley
WR A.J. Green
WR Brandin Cooks
TE Zach Ertz
RB Jordan Howard
K Chris Boswell
DEF Jacksonville Jaguars

Ridiculous Rascals

Rascal seems to be happy with the line-up he's been given thanks to the Draft, as no moves were made there. However, he didn't have a backup quarterback, so he's gotten the best possible, dropping Jack Doyle to acquire Drew Brees.

Week 1 Starting Line-Up(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Aaron Rodgers
RB LeSean McCoy
RB Melvin Gordon
WR Antonio Brown
WR Tyreek Hill
TE Jimmy Graham
RB Christian McCaffrey
K Wil Lutz
DEF Los Angeles Rams

Tailwaggerz

This is yet another team happy with their draft, as no moves were made to the starting line-up. Two moves were made on the bench, as Carson Wentz and his injury problems were dropped for Jared Goff. The suspended Mark Ingram was also offloaded for Patriots running back Rex Burkhead.

Week 1 Starting Line-Up(vs Tug of War)

QB Cam Newton
RB David Johnson
RB Kareem Hunt
WR T.Y. Hilton
WR Davante Adams
TE Greg Olsen
RB Dalvin Cook
K Matt Bryant
DEF Philadelphia Eagles

Leaping Girl

Emma decided to take out new 49er Jerick McKinnon from her starting line-up against her Vikings defense, opting for a safer choice in Alex Collins. She also decide to sub in Marvin Jones into the swing spot for Adam Thielen, while Jordan Reed takes the starting spot away from Evan Engram. The injured Derrius Guice was dropped for Ben Roethlisberger, as she needed a backup quarterback.

UPDATE: With Jerick McKinnon now out for the season, Leaping Girl has chosen not to activate Option C, instead adding Kerryon Johnson.

Week 1 Starting Line-Up(vs Bark Force)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB Alex Collins
WR Keenan Allen
WR DeAndre Hopkins
TE Jordan Reed
WR Marvin Jones
K Justin Tucker
DEF Minnesota Vikings

Rare Woofs

Onto to the first of the new expansion teams, and Rare Woofs has an incredible starting line-up, feeling no pressure to make any changes. On the bench, they did drop Alshon Jeffery, who will miss the first two weeks, to get a backup quarterback in the returning Andrew Luck.

Week 1 Starting Line-Up(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Russell Wilson
RB Todd Gurley
RB Leonard Fournette
WR Larry Fitzgerald
WR Michael Thomas
TE Rob Gronkowski
RB Kenyan Drake
K Stephen Gostkowski
DEF Los Angeles Chargers

Bark Force

Here we have one of the strangest teams in the league, as Bark Force have made a gusty call before Week 1. They've opted to start Royce Freeman, benching fellow rookie Rashaad Penny, as the new Broncos rookie back will start in his first NFL game. The Texans defense were dropped for the Ravens, as Houston will face the Bark Force quarterback Tom Brady. Finally, Emmanuel Sanders was dropped for Matt Ryan, as he will be the new backup.

UPDATE: With Le'Veon Bell having not signed his franchise tender yet, Bark Force has dropped Delanie Walker to add Carlos Hyde, who will enter the starting line-up for right now.

Week 1 Starting Line-Up(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Tom Brady
RB Carlos Hyde
RB Royce Freeman
WR Julio Jones
WR Odell Beckham
TE Travis Kelce
WR Mike Evans
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Baltimore Ravens

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
