The Dog League: Week 4 Preview(2018 Season)

A clash of the titans headlines Week 4 of the Dog League. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (0-3, 6th place)

After three consecutive losses to start the season, Leaping Girl finds herself well behind the rest of the league, with not much left to lose. She'll experiment with her line-up this week, bringing in three new starters. Marvin Jones was dropped for Emmanuel Sanders, who takes Adam Thielen's spot in the swing role. The Vikings defense were dropped for the Seahawks, and with Jordan Reed on bye, the injured Evan Engram was dropped for Trey Burton.

UPDATE: With Keenan Allen a game-time decision, Leaping Girl dropped Josh Gordon and added Mike Williams, who will go in if Allen is injured.

Week 4 Starting Line-Up(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB Alex Collins
WR Keenan Allen
WR DeAndre Hopkins
TE Trey Burton
WR Emmanuel Sanders
K Justin Tucker
DEF Seattle Seahawks

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (1-2, 5th place)

Coming off of their first win of the year, it's a quiet week of Tailwaggerz with just one move on the bench, as they dropped Dion Lewis for Chris Carson. With starting quarterback Cam Newton on bye, Jared Goff with assume the spot on Thursday night.

Week 4 Starting Line-Up(vs Bark Force)

QB Jared Goff
RB David Johnson
RB Kareem Hunt
WR T.Y. Hilton
WR Davante Adams
TE Jared Cook
RB James Conner
K Matt Bryant
DEF Chicago Bears

Bark Force

Current Record: (1-2, 4th place)

Bark Force continues to struggle with figuring out their roster, as they continue to leave big scorers on the bench. This week, they'll start JuJu Smith-Schuster in the flex spot over Stefon Diggs, and drop the Ravens defense for the Chargers, who have a good matchup against the 49ers. Maybe this will be the week that Bark Force finally puts their best foot forward.

Week 4 Starting Line-Up(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Carlos Hyde
RB Saquon Barkley
WR Mike Evans
WR Odell Beckham
TE Travis Kelce
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster
K Harrison Butker
DEF Los Angeles Chargers

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (1-2, 3rd place)

Leonard Fournette will hopefully be returning for Rare Woofs this week, as he takes the spot of Chris Thompson, who was on bye anyway. They'll be streaming the Packers defense this week, dropping the struggling Texans unit. Finally, for a stash play, the legend Larry Fitzgerald was dropped for rookie Calvin Ridley.

Week 4 Starting Line-Up(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Russell Wilson
RB Todd Gurley
RB Leonard Fournette
WR Golden Tate
WR Michael Thomas
TE Rob Gronkowski
RB Kenyan Drake
K Stephen Gostkowski
DEF Green Bay Packers

Tug of War

Current Record: (3-0, 2nd place)

The headlines for the league this week all reside around Tug of War, who have sent a message to all of their players. After a poor game against the Buffalo Bills, Kirk Cousins is out, not to the bench but dropped altogether. In his place comes Matt Ryan, who will start in his first game for the team. Fellow Falcon Tevin Coleman takes a spot on the bench, as longtime Tug of War running back Devonta Freeman is finally dropped.

Week 4 Starting Line-Up(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Matt Ryan
RB Jordan Howard
RB Alvin Kamara
WR A.J. Green
WR Julio Jones
TE Zach Ertz
WR Brandin Cooks
K Dan Bailey
DEF Jacksonville Jaguars

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (3-0, 1st place)

Rascal did look to make changes coming into his big game against Tug of War, but there were slim pickings on the waiver wire. One line-up change, as Christian McCaffrey is on his bye, so Marshawn Lynch takes the spot among the starters. Rascal could also have the option of starting the possibly returning LeSean McCoy, but McCoy will not get the spot for right now.

Week 4 Starting Line-Up(vs Tug of War)

QB Drew Brees
RB Marshawn Lynch
RB Melvin Gordon
WR Antonio Brown
WR Tyreek Hill
TE O.J. Howard
RB Giovani Bernard
K Wil Lutz
DEF Los Angeles Rams

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
