The Dog League: Week 2 Preview(2017 Season)

Welcome back to the Dog League. I rejoin you once more to run through the roster changes and starting line-ups heading into Week 2 of the season. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Tailwaggerz

We open things up with Tailwaggerz, who are currently last place thanks to their horrid Week 1 performance. Changes were afoot, as Stefon Diggs and the Baltimore Ravens defense were added off the waiver wire, in exchange for the injured Allen Robinson and the Texans defense. Mike Evans re-entered the starting line-up after his first week bye, while Seahawks Doug Baldwin and Jimmy Graham will get starting roles as well, thanks to a match-up at home against the 49ers.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Tom Brady
RB Le'Veon Bell
RB Jordan Howard
WR Jordy Nelson
WR Mike Evans
TE Jimmy Graham
WR Doug Baldwin
K Stephen Gostkowski
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Leaping Girl

Leaping Girl had the biggest decision to make, with star running back David Johnson now on injured reserve. Emma made an interesting choice, keeping Johnson on her team and not activating Option C, as he is still expected to be back this season. Rookie Dalvin Cook took Johnson's spot in the starting line-up, while Delanie Walker subbed in for a struggling Jordan Reed. Dez Bryant's tough match-up on the road in Denver gave DeAndre Hopkins the start on Thursday night.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Tug of War)

QB Drew Brees
RB LeSean McCoy
RB DeMarco Murray
WR DeAndre Hopkins
WR Amari Cooper
TE Delanie Walker
RB Dalvin Cook
K Justin Tucker
DEF Seattle Seahawks

Ridiculous Rascals

Rascal was busy before Week 2, making three waiver moves. He dropped the injured Andrew Luck to acquire and start Derek Carr, who has a good match-up against the Jets. With Odell Beckham's health in question, Rascal picked up another starter in the form of Tyreek Hill. His third addition and third new starter is the Arizona Cardinals defense, who have a good match-up in the struggling Colts, dropping the Broncos defense in the process. As of now, Jay Ajayi has been left on the bench, although he and Melvin Gordon could switch places. Odell Beckham also remains on the bench, but will start ahead of Brandin Cooks in he's ready to take the field.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Derek Carr
RB Melvin Gordon
RB Ezekiel Elliott
WR Brandin Cooks
WR Tyreek Hill
TE Rob Gronkowski
RB Marshawn Lynch
K Matt Bryant
DEF Arizona Cardinals

Tug of War

The league leaders showed off their impressive depth in Week 1, with their bench nearly matching the starting line-up in terms of production. With that in mind, there were no moves this week from Tug of War. They did bring their two rookie running backs, Kareem Hunt and Leonard Fournette, into the starting line-up, in place of Devonta Freeman and A.J. Green respectively.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Matt Ryan
RB Todd Gurley
RB Kareem Hunt
WR Julio Jones
WR Antonio Brown
TE Travis Kelce
RB Leonard Fournette
K Dan Bailey
DEF Kansas City Chiefs

There you have the starting line-ups for Week 2 of the 2017 Season of the Dog League. Have any predictions? Feel free to leave a comment, and I look forward to joining you again soon.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...
