Roman Reigns w/Seth Rollins vs Kevin Nash w/Scott Hall

The Outsiders won number one contendership a while back, and continued to attempt to make an impact. Remembering what happened when he tried to go it alone, Seth Rollins accompanied his partner to the ring for this match with Kevin Nash. Both powerhouses exchanged blows, neither giving ground. Nash took control of the match, using underhanded tactics to keep the advantage. One Jacknife Powerbomb later and that was that, a decisive victory over one half of the World Tag Team champions.

Winner: Kevin Nash

Layla vs Lita

Two women looking to get back on the winning track faced off as Layla took on Lita. Layla, crafty as she is, got some offense in early, but that would be that for her. Lita dominated and finished her off with a Twist of Fate and a Litasault.

After the match, Lita called out Chyna, wanting a Women's Title shot. There was no answer, but it was later announced that the Raw GM gave her a number one contender's match next week. All the Raw GM would say about Lita's opponent was that she is a "worthy challenger".

Winner: Lita

Harper and Rowan vs The APA

Harper and Rowan destroyed each other on the last episode of Raw, but teamed up again to face The APA. Harper instantly tagged in Rowan, and Rowan started strong, but was quickly isolated by The APA. Harper grew more and more angry as Rowan continued to get decimated by JBL and Faarooq, and when Faarooq drilled Rowan with a big powerslam, Harper refused to help his partner as The APA got the three and the win.

Winners: The APA

Sheamus vs Triple H

The Game returned to action this week, as he took on the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. Triple H showed quite a bit of ring rust in his return, and Sheamus took advantage. Sheamus nearly won the match twice, but neither the Brogue Kick or the High Cross could get the job done. Triple H fought back, and had the match won off a Pedigree, but the referee was knocked down. Sheamus took control again, and went for another Brogue Kick that would've finished The Game off. But the Cerebral Assassin was too crafty, dodging the move and connecting with another Pedigree for the win.

After the match, Triple H called out his former partner, Shawn Michaels. The Game wanted revenge for Shawn's assault on him the night after King of the Ring. Michaels was having none of it, and Triple H was left without a response.

Winner: Triple H

Kane vs ???- World Heavyweight Title #1 Contender's Match

The Raw GM has been anonymous since the start of Universe Mode, but promised he would reveal his identity when Kane took on a mystery opponent for number one contendership. The Big Red Machine could only watch on in shock as the Raw GM was revealed to be Paul Heyman, the advocate of Kane's opponent, the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.

Kane, furious about Heyman's status as Raw GM, was quickly overwhelmed by Lesnar, who showed his absolute dominance. Despite Kane's best efforts, he was drilled with an F-5, but Kane showed his inner strength, getting a shoulder up just before three. Kane fought with everything he had, refusing to quite despite the overwhelming odds against him. After Lesnar countered a chokeslam attempt, Kane then connected on the second try for a close two count. Lesnar hit Kane with another F-5, but the Big Red Monster kicked out again. Kane appeared to be closing in on a victory, but interference from Heyman cost him momentum, and even Kane couldn't kick out of three F-5s, as Lesnar became the new number one contender to Stone Cold Steve Austin's title.

After the match, Kane went to leave the ring, dejected, when a familiar gong sounded. The Undertaker made his return to Raw, and stared down his brother to end the show.

Winner: Brock Lesnar

I hope you've enjoyed Raw. One final announcement: Summerslam is Raw and Smackdown's next pay-per-view. It's joint-branded, and will take place on August 28th. NXT will be hosting a pay-per-view that week, more info on that on Wednesday.

Latest Update on new puppy

As you may well know from my mom's posts, there is a handsome puppy in the house. His name is Rascal, which appropriately fits him. Before Tuesday, he'd never had much problem with the crate, something I found interesting. He'd also never experienced anxiety issues when people came and left. Then yesterday, my dad and I were standing in the driveway organizing things for a trip to Goodwill. All of a sudden, Rascal freaked out. Some history behind the newest member of our family. Rascal was a stray in Hollister, when CARE, a rescue organization, found him. At this time Rascal was estimated to be about 2 months old, the age of a puppy when you first get them. He went to another family, who had him for quite a while, around 5 months. Then, without explanation, this family moved to Ohio, surrendering Rascal. CARE once again had him and his crazy antics for about a month. Rascal's name was changed to Boots in his time with CARE, but he wouldn't answer to that name. He ...

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
