The Dog League: Week 14 Preview(2019 Season)

Week 14 will be a quietest one of the season in terms of meaningful games, with three playoff spots and the regular season title already clinched. But for Tug of War and Rascal, this is the biggest week of the year, and a chance for the other four teams to prepare for their playoff clashes.

Bark Force

Current Record: (3-10, 6th place)

Now with the worst record in league history, Bark Force really has nowhere to go but up. They bring in James White for Ronald Jones on the bench, and return Todd Gurley to the starting lineup as he replaces Tyler Lockett, who is coming off a catchless performance against the Vikings. They also continue to hang onto A.J. Green, which is looking more and more like a stash play for next season then any sort of help for this year.

Week 14 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Aaron Jones
RB Nick Chubb
WR DeAndre Hopkins
WR D.J. Moore
TE Hunter Henry
RB Todd Gurley
K Justin Tucker
DEF Los Angeles Rams

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (5-8, 5th place)

A late season winning streak has given Rascal a chance to make the playoffs, as he faces old rival Tug of War in a win or go home game this week. Rascal brings Courtland Sutton and Julio Jones back into the starting lineup, though if the latter is ruled out again, Calvin Ridley could be called upon for another start. He also gets a new kicker, dropping Mason Crosby to pick up Matt Prater, and a new backup quarterback in Josh Allen. Finally, Rascal brings back Marlon Mack, and hopes either he or James Conner will be healthy this week to replace Joe Mixon in the starting lineup.

Week 14 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)

QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB Joe Mixon
WR Julio Jones
WR Jarvis Landry
TE Darren Waller
WR Courtland Sutton
K Matt Prater
DEF Pittsburgh Steelers

Tug of War

Current Record: (6-7, 4th place)

Despite being hot for the past month and a half, Tug of War's miserable start to the year leaves them fighting for their playoff lives this week against Rascal. While their opponent has leaned on making waiver moves to contend, Tug of War will turn to in-house options this week, bringing Dak Prescott and Leonard Fournette back into the starting lineup to replace Drew Brees and Cooper Kupp. Brees has a very tough matchup against the 49ers, while the decision to pull Kupp was related to the possibility of the Rams' potential struggles against the aggressive Seahawks defense. Finally, Tug of War turns back to the Ravens defense, starting them over the Bears.

Week 14 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Dak Prescott
RB Derrick Henry
RB Saquon Barkley
WR Michael Thomas
WR Chris Godwin
TE Zach Ertz
RB Leonard Fournette
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (6-7, 3rd place)

The win over Leaping Girl last week meant that the defending champs have qualified for the playoffs by virtue of tiebreaker over Tug of War, and are now just playing for seeding. They bring Deshaun Watson, Odell Beckham and Chris Carson back into the starting lineup this week, mostly just to begin setting up a playoff starting lineup. They drop Kenyan Drake to pick up Derrius Guice, and start the Eagles defense as they prepare to face Eli Manning on Monday night.

UPDATE: With Josh Jacobs questionable this week, Miles Sanders gets another start in the flex spot.

Week 14 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB Alvin Kamara
RB Chris Carson
WR Tyreek Hill
WR Odell Beckham
TE Jared Cook
RB Miles Sanders
K Harrison Butker
DEF Philadelphia Eagles

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (8-5, 2nd place)

With nothing to play for, Emma has had some fun with her lineup this week, bringing back Keenan Allen and bringing in DeVante Parker to start. She also brings back the Vikings defense, starting them over the Patriots, and drops Terry McLaurin to also bring back Robert Woods. Finally, 'tis the season, as Kyle Rudolph gets his annual start, sending George Kittle to the bench.

UPDATE: Le'Veon Bell is questionable this week, so Leaping Girl will be starting Devin Singletary in his place.

Week 14 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Lamar Jackson
RB Austin Ekeler
RB Devin Singletary
WR Mike Evans
WR Keenan Allen
TE Kyle Rudolph
WR DeVante Parker
K Zane Gonzalez
DEF Minnesota Vikings

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (11-2, 1st place)

Not as much fun to be had with Rare Woofs' lineup this week, but they still had some interesting moves to make. They dropped Tom Brady to pick up Carson Wentz, who gets the start at quarterback over Jameis Winston, and also dropped Tevin Coleman to pick up Alexander Mattison, as insurance in case Dalvin Cook is out on Sunday. Finally, they played it safe with Amari Cooper, again leaving him out of the starting lineup to instead try out Devonta Freeman, who gets set to face a Panthers run defense that just surrendered almost 250 yards rushing to the Redskins.

UPDATE: With Julian Edelman questionable, Kenny Golladay gets the start this week for Rare Woofs.

Week 14 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Carson Wentz
RB Christian McCaffrey
RB Dalvin Cook
WR Davante Adams
WR Kenny Golladay
TE Travis Kelce
RB Devonta Freeman
K Wil Lutz
DEF Green Bay Packers

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
