The Dog League: Week 16 Preview(2019 Playoffs)

We have reached the last stand, the final game of the fourth season in Dog League history. All six teams now make their final moves of this year, but do need to keep in mind that every player on their roster will be returning next year. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Bark Force

(#6 Seed, Fifth Place Game)

Bark Force makes a couple of moves for the future, dropping veterans A.J. Green and Greg Olsen to pick up D.J. Chark and Evan Engram. Although both players are dealing with injuries and pretty much incapable of being started, both will offer some upside for the team next year. Meanwhile, they also drop the Bills defense to stream the Seahawks, and move Tyler Lockett back into the starting lineup over Todd Gurley.

Week 16 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Aaron Jones
RB Nick Chubb
WR DeAndre Hopkins
WR D.J. Moore
TE Hunter Henry
WR Tyler Lockett
K Justin Tucker
DEF Seattle Seahawks

Ridiculous Rascals

(#5 Seed, Fifth Place Game)

Rascal drops two receivers this week, as Will Fuller was dropped for Terry McLaurin, who gets the start over Jarvis Landry as Landry faces the Ravens. He also drops the injured Calvin Ridley to get a backup tight end in O.J. Howard, who he will hope will have a better campaign next year. Finally, he brings in a new kicker, picking up his former starter Robbie Gould.

UPDATE: With Joe Mixon dealing with a stomach bug, James Conner will start today.

Week 16 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)

QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB James Conner
WR Julio Jones
WR Courtland Sutton
TE Darren Waller
WR Terry McLaurin
K Robbie Gould
DEF Pittsburgh Steelers

Tailwaggerz

(#4 Seed, Third Place Game)

Tailwaggerz will also get a new starting receiver this week, dropping John Brown to bring in D.K. Metcalf, who sends Emmanuel Sanders to the bench. They also bring in breakout star Tyler Higbee, who starts at tight end over Jared Cook, and the Chiefs defense to start as they face Mitchell Trubisky and the Bears on Sunday night. Finally, the fourth new starter will be Miles Sanders, who starts over Josh Jacobs as Jacobs will be out this week.

Week 16 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB Alvin Kamara
RB Chris Carson
WR Tyreek Hill
WR D.K. Metcalf
TE Tyler Higbee
RB Miles Sanders
K Harrison Butker
DEF Kansas City Chiefs

Tug of War

(#3 Seed, Third Place Game)

The third seed has never won a playoff game in Dog League history, and Tug of War kept that streak alive after just failing short of a massive comeback against Leaping Girl. With Chris Godwin likely out, Allen Robinson will get another start against the Chiefs, though breakout star A.J. Brown is available if they change their mind. Also, Greg Zuerlein is dealing with a muscle strain, so the Bears defense were dropped for Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn, who gets the start.

UPDATE: Derrick Henry is out, so Melvin Gordon is in for Tug of War.

Week 16 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Drew Brees
RB Saquon Barkley
RB Leonard Fournette
WR Michael Thomas
WR Allen Robinson
TE Zach Ertz
RB Melvin Gordon
K Ka'imi Fairbairn
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Leaping Girl

(#2 Seed, Championship Game)

Emma brings back top pick Le'Veon Bell to start this week, as he sends rookie Devin Singletary to the bench, while DeVante Parker takes Robert Woods' starting spot. She also drops Deebo Samuel to pick up T.Y. Hilton, who is purely just a stash play for next year. And in an incredibly bold move, she drops starting kicker Zane Gonzalez to pick up Younghoe Koo, who gets the opportunity to deliver Emma her very first Dog League title.

Week 16 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Lamar Jackson
RB Austin Ekeler
RB Mark Ingram
WR Keenan Allen
WR DeVante Parker
TE George Kittle
RB Le'Veon Bell
K Younghoe Koo
DEF New England Patriots

Rare Woofs

(#1 Seed, Championship Game)

Even after winning 12 games, taking home a regular season title and another first round playoff win, Rare Woofs are far from the favorite to become champion. With Julian Edelman banged up, the also banged up Amari Cooper returns to the starting lineup and has a good chance to rebound against the woeful Eagles secondary. Rare Woofs brings in a new backup defense, dropping the Packers to pick up the Broncos unit, and also brought back Carson Wentz as a solid backup for this year and a more promising player for next year. But by far the biggest problem for the team lies with Dalvin Cook. Their star running back is dealing with a shoulder injury, and presents a tough dilemma as his game is on Monday night. For now, he keeps his starting job, though Devonta Freeman is available to fill in if necessary. Rare Woofs final move, and the likely final waiver move for any team this year, was to drop Carlos Hyde to pick up Kenyan Drake, who is coming off of a three touchdown game and will start in the flex spot over Kenny Golladay.

UPDATE: Dalvin Cook has now been officially ruled out, so Rare Woofs turn to Tyler Boyd to attempt to bring home the Dog League title.

Week 16 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Jameis Winston
RB Christian McCaffrey
RB Kenyan Drake
WR Davante Adams
WR Amari Cooper
TE Travis Kelce
WR Tyler Boyd
K Wil Lutz
DEF San Francisco 49ers

Henry's Universe Mode #209: No Mercy(Part 1)

What does it take to be the best? It's a question that's been asked many times, by many people. To many, the answer is complicated; tonight, it is quite simple. Lay it all on the line, not for yourself but in pursuit of something. Settle your scores by defeating your opponent, as decisively as possible. Be ready for any opportunity that presents itself, because it might be your only chance. And above all else, show.....no......mercy. And now, Raw and SmackDown present.....................No Mercy! The Route of Life

dedicated to my hermits, who changed my life Ch 1 My Hermit crabs Hermit crabs are sometimes hard to take care of. Especially when you never had a hermit. Last Sunday afternoon I got 2 Hermit crabs. Their names are Crabbe and Goyle. I have talked with many sales people. The first Petco we went to (where we got the hermits and their things) seemed to have no idea on the subject. So we ended up going to Dolphin Pet Village. They were more experience at the subject. Now we have some of the things we will need. Last week, I went to a second Petco. There we got a cuttlebone, which is the bone of a fish. Now they look happy. Have a good day Hermit Crabs! Ch 2 Curious Crab The week before last week, my mom looked into my crabitat and found that one of my crabs had climbed one of my fake trees. It was on the top branch. Later, when I was changing to get ready for bed, the crab fell out of his branch. I hope he is okay. He’s definitely starting to look okay. How funny do you think that story is
