The Dog League: Week 15 Review(2019 Playoffs)

With the final two spots on the line, who would advance to fight for the Dog League's fourth championship? (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

First Round: #1 Rare Woofs vs #4 Tailwaggerz

This seemed like it would be a routine win for Rare Woofs, and it certainly looked that way early on. Jameis Winston(32.72 points), Christian McCaffrey(37.5 points), Davante Adams(23.3 points) and Travis Kelce(25.2 points) lit up the scoreboard early and often, as the league's best team were in complete control. Solid days from Chris Carson(26.7 points) and Tyreek Hill(23.8 points) gave Tailwaggerz a lifeline, but they would need a miracle to stay in the game. Fortunately for the defending champions, they got two, as Julian Edelman(2.9 points) and Dalvin Cook(7.3 points) both dealt with injuries, leaving them nowhere near as effective as normal. The door was open, but would eventually be slammed shut, as Emmanuel Sanders(2.9 points) was totally useless, and Alvin Kamara(13.9 points) and Jared Cook(9.4 points) fell well short of a Monday night comeback. It wasn't as comfortable as they would've hoped, but Rare Woofs are back in the title game, though they will be nowhere near fully healthy.

Final: Rare Woofs(155.32) - Tailwaggerz(123.52)

First Round: #2 Leaping Girl vs #3 Tug of War

The third seed has never defeated the second in Dog League history, and Leaping Girl was eager to keep that record going, as Lamar Jackson(37.08 points) and Mark Ingram(23.6 points) opened up a massive lead on Thursday night. The Patriots defense(20 points) kept the train rolling, though the long awaited big day from Saquon Barkley(30.3 points) helped Tug of War make a slight dent in the deficit. But Derrick Henry(8.6 points) was unusually quiet, and Greg Zuerlein(1 points) was left on the sideline, allowing Leaping Girl to add on thanks to George Kittle(26.4 points). Heading into Monday night, with just Drew Brees and Michael Thomas to contend with and holding a near 70 point lead, Emma was ready to pop the champagne and celebrate her first playoff win. But the Indianapolis Colts had other ideas, and this game would end up far more dramatic than it had any right to be. Thomas(30.8 points) was as stellar as always, proving why Tug of War spent a second round pick on him. On another history making night, Drew Brees was as great as always, setting the NFL record for most passing touchdowns and also setting the single game completion percentage record, just for kicks. But for as good as his real life game was, fantasy football presents a different challenge. And although Brees had another stupendous outing, his 28.28 points just weren't quite enough. Emma held on for victory, closer than she would have liked to be sure, but enough to move onto a final meeting with Rare Woofs, where her first title will be well within reach.

Final: Leaping Girl(161.68) - Tug of War(152.48)

Just for reference, Ridiculous Rascals would've beaten Bark Force if both teams had played this week, by a score of 157.82 to 124.5.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...
