Chris Jericho vs Seth Rollins- Winner faces Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules

Summary:
We opened up Raw this week with Lesnar's open challenge, as the Beast Incarnate was incredibly upset with his loss last week, vowing to destroy any man foolish enough to step in the ring with him. That man was no other than the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry, who made his Universe Mode debut. Mark took the fight to Brock, felling the Beast before Lesnar turned the tables, hitting a succession of suplexes. Brock picked Henry up and delivered a devastating F-5, getting a fairly easy opening win.The Women's champion, Trish Stratus was in action up next, as she took on Tamina, joined by Naomi, whom Lita defeated last week. Tamina used her strength, while Trish used her cunning and veteran expertise. Tamina would gain control of the match, nearly scoring the upset over the champ with a Superfly Splash. Trish fought back, hitting a Chick Kick and a Stratusfaction, but Naomi interfered to keep the match alive. Naomi ate a Chick Kick, and Trish rolled up Tamina for the win. Our next match saw Luke Harper and Kane go head to head, with both of their tag partners banned from ringside. It was a very back and forth affair, with both exchanging heavy blows. Harper looked to be going for his clothesline, but Kane hit him with a well-placed elbow and connected with a chokeslam for a 2 count. Kane would then hit his clothesline, hit a second chokeslam, but chose to go for the Tombstone Piledriver instead of a cover. He performed it succesfully and then covered, but Harper somehow kicked out. Kane, frustrated, knocked out the ref and grabbed a chair, trying to crush Harper's skull, but Harper countered, hitting Kane with a DDT on the chair. Kane fought back, though, and hit a third chokeslam for the pinfall. A good showing from these two. The final preliminary match saw Ryback, who takes on John Cena at Extreme Rules, in action against CM Punk, who was injured last week. Ryback wasted little time, jumping Punk before their match could begin. He beat down on Punk, hitting a Shell Shocked on the entrance ramp, leading the ref to call the match before it could even really begin, giving Ryback the victory. Ryback looks ready for his title shot against Cena at Extreme Rules.

A thrilling night of Raw came to a close with the eagerly anticipated main event, as Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho faced off for number one contendership. Seth had an inkling he might be out-matched, and went for quite a few early pinfalls, coming close a few times. Jericho would hit a Lionsault, but Rollins kicked out and gained momentum by hitting his bucklebomb. The two hit some high-flying moves, before both were knocked down. Rollins beat Jericho to his feet and delivered a Pedigree, but Jericho kicked out. Jericho regained momentum following a missed dropkick, and looked ready to lock in the Walls of Jericho. Rollins hit him with a knee however, busting open Jericho's nose, and quickly hit another bucklebomb, followed by a curb stomp, but Jericho kicked out again. Rollins, frustrated, resorted to mind games, as the two circled each other on the outside. Rollins gained the advantage with a big kick, and then delivered the moment of the night, a big elbow drop from the top rope to drive Jericho through the announce table. Rollins rolled Jericho back into the ring, but still couldn't keep him down, not even after a Phoenix Splash. In the end, Jericho outlasted Rollins, hitting some big powerbombs and locking in the Walls of Jericho, to which Rollins passed out. A phenomenal match from two of WWE's best, and likely not the last time we see these two square off. After the match, an exhausted, bloodied, Chris Jericho was subjected to a vicious three on one attack by the Wyatt Family, leaving Jericho's health heading into his title match up in the air. But regardless, that match is guaranteed to happen at Extreme Rules.

A great Raw capped off by a thrilling thirty-minute long classic between Jericho and Rollins. And what a main event Wyatt vs Jericho will be at Extreme Rules. Thank you as always, and I hoped you enjoyed as much as I did.

-Henry

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
