I'll start this post off by saying that there will no other Universe Mode content this week. Shows will return next week, but this week is off. With that out of the way, I'm proud to announce my new Universe Mode announcement, called the Universe Mode Talent Exchange. With Summerslam being a season finale of sorts for me, and the Draft being in April post-Wrestlemania, I felt this was the best place to put this in. Here's how it works:
Rules
The Talent Exchange is one night of the year where all three GMs can make unlimited trades. Paul Heyman, William Regal and Teddy Long have the opportunity to acquire and get rid of any talent they want to, to customize their roster how they see fit. The Exchange takes place on Monday, immediately following Summerslam, and the GMs will then get the rest of the week to finalize their rosters before normal shows begin again. Here are the rules of trading:
- Trades are unlimited, as long as the other GM agrees to the move.
- The GM initiating the trade must trade in a like-for-like swap. This means if you trade a single male or female superstar, you must trade for another single male or female superstar. If you trade a tag team, you must trade for another tag team, and so on. This is to prevent roster discrepancies.
- Champions are not eligible to be traded.
- Monday is the only day of trading.
- The receiving GM only gets one chance to refuse a trade. Once he agrees, the trade is final.
- Raw, Smackdown and NXT get the opportunity to initiate trades in that order. If a GM declines the opportunity to trade, then he must wait for the other two brands to get their opportunity.
That's about it. I hope that's simple enough to understand. I will be back tomorrow to update you on what trades took place, and then we resume normal content with Raw next Monday. See you soon.
