Henry's Universe Mode #115: Raw

I'm opening this post by clearing up a mistake: last week, I said that Elimination Chamber, the next pay-per-view would take place on February 19th. I meant the 12th, the same day as the real life Chamber pay-per-view, meaning we are just six days away.

Tonight is the final stop before Elimination Chamber. Who will join champion Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins to fight for the World Heavyweight Title? Also, Dean Ambrose addresses his assault on The Undertaker, the tag champs are in action and more!

Dean Ambrose Promo

The Lunatic Fringe opened this edition of Raw, addressing his actions last week. Ambrose went on a rant, blaming the fans for his failure at the Royal Rumble. If he hadn't been distracted by the fans, he would've won the whole thing and be headlining WrestleMania by now. Dean Ambrose is tired of being overlooked, tired of being second best. The Undertaker was just the first to feel his wrath, and he won't stop until he achieves every ambition, fulfills every dream. Dean Ambrose will be the World Heavyweight Champion, and if you don't like it, well then too f***ing bad.

Mark Henry vs Austin Aries- Elimination Chamber Qualification Match

Aries, who debuted in the Royal Rumble Match, got a big chance in his Raw debut, with the opportunity to earn an Elimination Chamber spot. Unfortunately, he was going up against Mark Henry, who had been near unstoppable as of late. Aries looked good early on, but committed a fatal error, trying to out wrestle Henry. One World's Strongest Slam later and Mark Henry became the fourth participant in the Elimination Chamber match.

Winner: Mark Henry

Title Match Set for Elimination Chamber

United States Champion Chris Jericho made a big announcement earlier today, when he set up a US Title Open Challenge for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Who will answer Jericho's challenge?

Itami and Balor vs Golden Truth

The tag champs may not have been at one hundred percent after last week's attack by The Club, but they were still good enough to take out Goldust with an assisted double foot stomp.

After the match, Balor and Itami took to the mics. They issued a challenge to The Club for a non-title match at Elimination Chamber this Sunday. Will Gallows and Anderson accept? I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

Winners: Itami and Balor

Big Tag Match for the Next Episode of Raw

On the next edition of Raw, we will see Raw Women's Champion Bayley team up with Nikki Bella to face Sasha Banks and Asuka. If Sasha's team wins, she will receive another shot at the title.

Samoa Joe Makes His Presence Felt

We were scheduled to hear from Samoa Joe, the winner of the 2017 Royal Rumble, about his thoughts on the Elimination Chamber event. Instead, we cut to backstage, where Joe was viciously attacking the World Heavyweight Champion, Goldberg. Joe beat the hell out of Goldberg, forcing officials to drag him away. With Goldberg being forced to defend his title in six days, the champion looks to be in serious jeopardy.

Rusev vs Bray Wyatt- Elimination Chamber Qualification Match

This match was absolutely not for the faint of heart, two vicious, nasty competitors beating the hell out of each other for another shot at the World Heavyweight Title. It didn't take long for the blood to get flowing, Rusev getting busted open at the hands of Bray Wyatt. Lana, realizing her husband was in trouble, got involved several times, saving Rusev after Wyatt hit two Sister Abigail's. Eventually, the official had enough of Lana's interference, and ejected the Ravishing Russian. With no hurdles in his way, Bray decimated Rusev with a third Sister Abigail for the three count.

After the match, the Wyatt Family struck their signature pose while Rusev was checked over by Raw's medical team, blood covering his face and chest.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

Kevin Owens vs John Cena- Elimination Chamber Qualification Match

These two met for the US Title back in October, and it was Kevin Owens who was victorious on that night. John Cena, runner up in the Royal Rumble just a few weeks ago, looked to flip the script and become the final man to enter the Elimination Chamber. Both men went back and forth off the start, and it was Owens that scored big early, hitting a Pop-Up Powerbomb that nearly put it away within minutes. Cena is nothing if not resilient, and he fought back with big strikes and caught Owens with an Attitude Adjustment. Cena only got a one count, though, and the Leader of the Cenation was stunned. It became clear that John Cena simply doesn't have what it take to beat Kevin Owens, with KO even fighting out of the STF. With nothing left, Cena ran right into a second Pop-Up Powerbomb and another loss to Kevin Owens.

Winner: Kevin Owens

Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Mark Henry, Bray Wyatt and Kevin Owens have all qualified for the World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber Match. Who will be next to qualify for SmackDown's Chamber Match? Tune it tomorrow to find out.

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
