Henry's Universe Mode #121: SmackDown

With Fastlane approaching, tonight SmackDown will see a huge main event, as AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels will look to get on the same page, as they face American Alpha. Earlier this week, Randy Orton challenged Baron Corbin to an Intercontinental Title match at Fastlane. How will Corbin respond? Natalya vs Becky Lynch, The Club's SmackDown debut and more!

Prime Time Players vs The Club

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson made a big impact at Elimination Chamber, helping AJ Styles retain his WWE Title against The Rock. They have now been signed to SmackDown, and made their debut on the blue brand against the red hot Prime Time Players. The magical run of Darren Young and Titus O'Neil met a brick wall, as Gallows and Anderson proved how good they are. A Magic Killer to Titus was enough for a relatively easy win.

Winners: The Club

Sheamus vs Fandango

This was certainly a clash of styles, as the hard-hitting Sheamus took on the eccentric Fandango. The Celtic Warrior took control early, beating Fandango up. The Lord of Dance was not going to stay down for long, and with the SmackDown fans cheering him on, rallied to hit a Last Dance and pick up the win.

Fandango didn't have much time to celebrate his win, as he was jumped by former tag team partner Tyler Breeze. Breeze was obviously not happy about Fandango getting the spotlight, hitting a Beauty Shot that left Fandango out cold.

Winner: Fandango

Big Title Match for Next Week

At Elimination Chamber, we saw the end of Paige's incredible run as SmackDown Women's champion, as Alexa Bliss picked up the win. Paige has been offered a rematch by Daniel Bryan, and that match will take place next week, in SmackDown's main event.

Baron Corbin vs Tye Dillinger

The Perfect Ten looked for a big win over the Intercontinental Champion, and was looking good early on. Dillinger even connected on his Perfect Ten facebuster, but Corbin powered out at two. One End of Days later and that was all she wrote. That wasn't all we would get from Corbin though...

Winner: Baron Corbin

The Lone Wolf then grabbed a mic to address Randy Orton's challenge. He called Orton "weak" before accepting the challenge, and we will now get an Intercontinental Title match at Fastlane.

Natalya vs Becky Lynch

Two women very much in the title hunt faced off in what was an excellent encounter, another impressive display from SmackDown's women's division. Both Natalya and Becky Lynch are very technical competitors, and the early part of the match was slow as a result. Things picked up when Becky dodged a clothesline to lock in the Dis-arm-her, but she hadn't done enough damage to the arms and Natalya fought her way out. The Queen of Harts rallied using her power, taking Becky down to the mat and locking in the Sharpshooter. Becky fought with everything she had, and powered out. A big Bex-ploder followed by another Dis-arm-her earned the Irish Lass-Kicker a big win.

Winner: Becky Lynch

AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels vs American Alpha

We moved on to our big tag team main event, as AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels looked to get ready for Fastlane. Early on, it seemed like there were some communication issues between Styles and HBK, issues that Chad Gable and Jason Jordan took full advantage of. It was close to being over quickly, as Grand Amplitude connected on Styles, but Shawn made the save. As the match went along, champion and challenger began to click. Some impressive double team offense led to a Sweet Chin Music on Gable, but a mistake from AJ allowed Jordan to break up the pin. Styles tagged in and connected on a Styles Clash, but Jordan was ready to break things up again. Before he could, Gallows and Anderson hopped the barricade and took him out behind the official's back, while AJ got the three count in the ring. Michaels looked none too happy with the way it happened, but he and AJ Styles were victorious to close SmackDown.

Winners: AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels

The two men who will meet at WrestleMania picked up a big win, albeit through outside help from The Club, who appear to be targeting the tag team champions. Tune in tomorrow for Main Event, where the Cruiserweight Title will be on the line.

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
