What does it take to be the best? It's a question that's been asked many times, by many people. To many, the answer is complicated; tonight, it is quite simple. Lay it all on the line, not for yourself but in pursuit of something. Settle your scores by defeating your opponent, as decisively as possible. Be ready for any opportunity that presents itself, because it might be your only chance. And above all else, show.....no......mercy.
And now, Raw and SmackDown present.....................No Mercy!

The Shield(c) vs The Hardy Boyz- Raw Tag Team Championship Match
For a large majority of this match, we saw a different side to Matt and Jeff Hardy. They were more calculating, operating at a slower pace is hopes of grinding out Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. The strategy proved successful enough against Ambrose, but one mistake changed the match. Matt swung for a big right and missed, hitting Jeff, allowing Ambrose the opportunity to make the tag. The Big Dog swung in the match in the champions favor, hitting big move after big move, wiping out both Hardy Boyz before putting Matt away with a Spear.
Winners and still Raw Tag Team Champions: The Shield
Kenny Omega(c) vs Randy Orton- Intercontinental Championship Match
After doing battle once before at Summerslam, both of these men knew each other style's fairly well, resulting in some very even exchanges at the beginning. Quickly, Orton would assert control, and ground Omega out. He wore the champion down with a series of power moves and chinlocks, controlling the match. The big moves would follow, but one RKO wouldn't do it. A second from the top rope still wasn't enough, as the Viper was completely stunned. He struck out with a fury, but that played into the favor of the Cleaner. Omega went on the attack, hitting a gorgeous 450 splash and following it up with a big bicycle kick off the jaw. One Winged Angel connected, as the official counted once, twice, but Orton got the shoulder up! No one had ever kicked out of the move, and it was now the breaking point for Kenny Omega. He kept his cool and kept his confidence, delivering the move with even more impact the second time, and there was no kicking out for Orton.
Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Kenny Omega
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens(c) vs The Club- SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
Once more, we saw a lot of the same problems that had plagued Zayn and Owens against the Prime Time Players come to the forefront here. They had a lot of trouble communicating throughout the match, while the well-oiled machine of Gallows and Anderson took full control. Even when Owens tried to take matters into his own hands and keep Sami from getting beaten down, the challengers had it scouted, taking out KO with a few double team moves. This left Sami alone with both members of The Club. He fought his heart out, even hitting a Helluva Kick, but couldn't overcome the numbers game. All seemed to be lost, when Owens managed to get back on the apron. A look of mutual understanding passed between the champions. Sami connected with a brainbuster, and Owens followed it up with a big frog splash, fending off Gallows and allowing Zayn to get the win.
Winners and still SmackDown Tag Team Champions: Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens
Rusev(c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura- United States Championship Match
Interestingly, there was no back-up for Rusev in this match, as it appeared that he wanted to fight alone. This was either a very disrespectful or very stupid move by the champion, as he definitely could've used the back-up. Despite this, Rusev did look good for most of this match, as he used his overwhelming power whenever he could. Nakamura used a strategy we'd seen before, surviving most of the bigger man's offense, utilizing his quick, deadly strikes to keep the champion off balance. He took some unusual chances throughout the match as well, diving off the top rope to deliver some big kicks to Rusev's skull. This seemed like the night for Shinsuke, as ever after being hit with the Machka Kick and planted with a big powerbomb, he still was able to survive. However, he seemed to be out cold, as the Bulgarian Brute savage him with strikes. There was only ever going to be one chance for the challenger, and Shinsuke made it count. A kick to the gut followed by the Kinshasa was his last shot, but it was the only shot that was ever needed.
Winner and the NEW United States Champion: Shinsuke Nakamura
