The Dog League: Week 2 Preview(2018 Season)

It's Week 2 of the Dog League, as all six teams get their first crack at proper team management. The games may not have taken on an increased importance yet, but if any team can establish a true starting line-up with reliable high scorers, they may have a big advantage for the rest of the year. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (0-1, 6th place)

Coming off of a loss and starting the season in dead last forced some moves out of Tailwaggerz this week, as they first acquired Cooper Kupp, dropping Pierre Garcon. With receiver Davante Adams held out of practice, they'll now have an extra weapon in reserve. For the starters, the injured Greg Olsen was offloaded for Jared Cook, coming off of an impressive performance in Week 1. And with Rex Burkhead dealing with concussion issues, Tailwaggerz will stack up talent at running back, adding James Conner off the waiver wire.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Cam Newton
RB David Johnson
RB Kareem Hunt
WR T.Y. Hilton
WR Davante Adams
TE Jared Cook
RB Dalvin Cook
K Matt Bryant
DEF Philadelphia Eagles

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (0-1, 5th place)

With league leaders Tug of War as their next opponent, Leaping Girl also made a few moves. She brought Adam Thielen into her starting line-up to replace Marvin Jones. In the waivers, two moves were made, as Marlon Mack was dropped for Peyton Barber and veteran QBs were swapped, Ben Roethlisberger out and Philip Rivers in.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Tug of War)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB Alex Collins
WR Keenan Allen
WR DeAndre Hopkins
TE Jordan Reed
WR Adam Thielen
K Justin Tucker
DEF Minnesota Vikings

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (0-1, 4th place)

Nothing major for Rare Woofs this week, as their only concern is to the health of starter Leonard Fournette. They offloaded Ronald Jones to acquire Isaiah Crowell, who will start the week on the bench, but may be a starter by Sunday if Fournette's status is in doubt.

UPDATE: With Fournette a game-time decision in the later time slot, Rare Woofs will start Chris Thompson this week, who has a good match-up against the Colts.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Bark Force)

QB Russell Wilson
RB Todd Gurley
RB Chris Thompson
WR Larry Fitzgerald
WR Michael Thomas
TE Rob Gronkowski
RB Kenyan Drake
K Stephen Gostkowski
DEF Los Angeles Chargers

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (1-0, 3rd place)

For the Ridiculous Rascals, the Jimmy Graham experiment is already over, as he was dropped for reliable vet Benjamin Watson. Watson will be joined by his quarterback, Drew Brees, who takes over for the potentially injured Aaron Rodgers. The flex spot this week goes to Joe Mixon, replacing Christian McCaffrey, as he looks to replicate an impressive Week 1 performance tomorrow night against the Ravens.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Drew Brees
RB LeSean McCoy
RB Melvin Gordon
WR Antonio Brown
WR Tyreek Hill
TE Benjamin Watson
RB Joe Mixon
K Wil Lutz
DEF Los Angeles Rams

Bark Force

Current Record: (1-0, 2nd place)

With fellow expansion team Rare Woofs in their sights, Bark Force still have a running back issue to solve. Rashaad Penny was dropped for surprise Week 1 star Adrian Peterson, who will get the start over Royce Freeman. How that works out will be anyone's guess. Also, on the bench, Matt Ryan was dropped for his poor first performance, as Bark Force added some youth in Patrick Mahomes.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Tom Brady
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Carlos Hyde
WR Julio Jones
WR Odell Beckham
TE Travis Kelce
WR Mike Evans
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Tug of War

Current Record: (1-0, 1st place)

Another week, another win for Tug of War, as the team has begun it's campaign for a three peat on an extremely positive note. Only one move this week, as they dropped the injured Doug Baldwin for second year receiver Kenny Golladay, who looked good against the Jets. With the team choosing to keep Matthew Stafford as a backup despite his struggles, he could form a good partnership with Golladay in the future.

Week 2 Starting Line-Up(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Kirk Cousins
RB Alvin Kamara
RB Saquon Barkley
WR A.J. Green
WR Brandin Cooks
TE Zach Ertz
RB Jordan Howard
K Chris Boswell
DEF Jacksonville Jaguars

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
