The Dog League: Week 3 Preview(2018 Season)

We open up Week 3 with a trade, as Bark Force trades Julio Jones to Tug of War for Saquon Barkley. This should help both teams' rosters, and fix some issues going forward. Since Barkley was a 2nd round pick, while Jones was a 3rd, both teams will swap waiver priority for this week, as Tug of War moves up to 3rd while Bark Force drops to last. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (0-2, 6th place)

With a talented roster that has struggled to produce, Tailwaggerz is in an interesting spot this week. They elected to stand pat, with no huge changes to their line-up, other than bringing in the hot Bears defense in exchange for the Eagles. If this team continues to lose games, you have to feel that big changes will be coming.

UPDATE: With Dalvin Cook ruled out, James Conner will take his place this week.

Week 3 Starting Line-Up(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Cam Newton
RB David Johnson
RB Kareem Hunt
WR T.Y. Hilton
WR Davante Adams
TE Jared Cook
RB James Conner
K Matt Bryant
DEF Chicago Bears

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (0-2, 5th place)

Another talented team that has struggled to get wins is Leaping Girl, who will also make no big changes, with no obvious weak links in her team. She does bring in Matt Breida onto her bench, dropping Peyton Barber. Leaping Girl has got to turn this poor start around, and will get the opportunity is matchup of the two winless teams.

Week 3 Starting Line-Up(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB Alex Collins
WR Keenan Allen
WR DeAndre Hopkins
TE Jordan Reed
WR Adam Thielen
K Justin Tucker
DEF Minnesota Vikings

Bark Force

Current Record: (1-1, 4th place)

Bark Force is the talk of the town this week, coming in with the most roster change of any team thus far this season. With Saquon Barkley now in the fold, he'll obviously start, taking the place of Adrian Peterson. Patrick Mahomes gets his shot to start over Tom Brady this week, while Stefon Diggs takes the flex spot, moving Mike Evans up in the rotation to replace Julio Jones. Finally, Greg Zuerlein is out injured, so Bark Force brought in a new kicker in the form of Harrison Butker.

Week 3 Starting Line-Up(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Carlos Hyde
RB Saquon Barkley
WR Mike Evans
WR Odell Beckham
TE Travis Kelce
WR Stefon Diggs
K Harrison Butker
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (1-1, 3rd place)

Coming off of their first win in the Dog League, Rare Woofs are out of the frying pan and into the fire, as they must face two-time champions, Tug of War. They may get help this week from Leonard Fournette, who is tentatively penciled in for his return, sending Chris Thompson to the bench. Larry Fitzgerald will also head to the bench this week, as Golden Tate gets his first start. Meanwhile, Rare Woofs have finally offloaded the Chargers defense, adding the Texans, who could have a great matchup against the Giants.

UPDATE: With Fournette out, Chris Thompson regains his starting spot.

Week 3 Starting Line-Up(vs Tug of War)

QB Russell Wilson
RB Todd Gurley
RB Chris Thompson
WR Golden Tate
WR Michael Thomas
TE Rob Gronkowksi
RB Kenyan Drake
K Stephen Gostkowski

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (2-0, 2nd place)

The Ridiculous Rascals may be undefeated thus far, but it hasn't been easy, and won't be getting easier this week. With LeSean McCoy banged up and facing a tough Vikings defense, Christian McCaffrey returns to the starting line-up this week. Joe Mixon is also injured, and so Rascal dropped Derrick Henry to add Giovani Bernard, who starts in the flex spot while Mixon remains out. Finally, the search for a tight end continues, as Benjamin Watson was dropped for O.J. Howard.

Week 3 Starting Line-Up(vs Bark Force)

QB Drew Brees
RB Melvin Gordon
RB Christian McCaffrey
WR Antonio Brown
WR Tyreek Hill
TE O.J. Howard
RB Giovani Bernard
K Wil Lutz
DEF Los Angeles Rams

Tug of War

Current Record: (2-0, 1st place)

With the big trade announced, there were obviously going to be some changes to Tug of War's line-up. Jordan Howard moves from the flex into a top RB role, while Brandin Cooks takes his spot in the flex and new addition Julio Jones makes his way into the starters. On the waiver wire, the league leaders added Dan Bailey, dropping the struggling Chris Boswell.

Week 3 Starting Line-Up(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Kirk Cousins
RB Jordan Howard
RB Alvin Kamara
WR A.J. Green
WR Julio Jones
TE Zach Ertz
WR Brandin Cooks
K Dan Bailey
DEF Jacksonville Jaguars

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
