Henry's Universe Mode #76: SmackDown

Tonight, with just two days before No Mercy, the Viper returns to SmackDown. After losing to Stone Cold Steve Austin just over a month ago, we haven't seen or heard from Randy Orton. Tonight, that will change, as Orton is in the building. What will he say? We have no clue.

The Vaudevillains vs The Ascension- SmackDown Tag Team Invitational Semi-Finals Match

We kicked off the semi-finals of the tag tournament with The Vaudevillains attempting to halt the wave of momentum that The Ascension have been on. Gotch and English came right out of the gates firing, and had Konnor and Viktor on the back step early on. The Ascension came roaring back though, using great tag team strategy to dominate their opponents, and seemed to be closing in on another win. Out of nowhere, though, Gotch came up with a big counter, rolling up Konnor to score a shock victory, whilst Viktor was brawling with English on the outside. Incredibly, the fairytale story continues for The Vaudevillains, as they advanced to the finals, while Konnor and Viktor remained shocked in the ring.

Winners: The Vaudevillains

American Alpha vs Edge and Christian- SmackDown Tag Team Invitational Semi-Finals Match

Gable and Jordan would be looking to pull off a little magic of their own, as they were taking on tournament favorites Edge and Christian. Despite being the underdogs, Gable and Jordan showed no fear, and dominated a majority of the contest. It just seemed like Edge and Christian didn't care about the match, and American Alpha took advantage, hitting a double superplex on Christian to advance to the finals, where they will take on The Vaudevillains

For the second week in a row, there was trouble with the losing team. Edge was blaming Christian for the loss, whilst Christian maintained that Edge was dragging the team down. After a brief argument, officials swarmed the ring, and seemed to have maintained order. From nowhere, though, Edge struck with a Spear, potentially signaling the end of another tag team on SmackDown.

Winners: American Alpha

Tyson Kidd vs AJ Styles

Tyson was looking to send a message to AJ, after Styles took out a fellow friend of Tyson in Bret Hart, last week on SmackDown. His partner, Cesaro, was at ringside, to check out his competition this Sunday at No Mercy. AJ seemed in no interest to actually wrestle Tyson, and paid for it as Tyson wrestled circles around the Phenomenal One. Very quickly, AJ realized he was not getting out of this without sustain damage, and with his title match just days away, he took action, grabbing a steel chair and nailing Tyson with it, getting himself disqualified.

After the match, AJ took advantage of a down Tyson Kidd, lifting him up before delivering a devastating Styles Clash, right on the concrete. An enraged Cesaro chased after Styles, who escaped up the ramp, leaving a mess behind him. Tyson was clearly seriously injured, and given the history of the Styles Clash, with Stone Cold and Bret Hart already on the shelf, this was clearly a very big deal. Tyson was lifted onto a stretcher, leaving a very distraught Cesaro in the ring. The Styles Clash has claimed another victim, and Styles will look to use his devastating maneuver one more time this Sunday at No Mercy.

Winner: Tyson Kidd

The Viper Returns to SmackDown

Orton made his way out to the ring, mic in hand. Before he could say one word, though, he was interrupted by another returning champion- The People's Champion, The Rock! The Great One had not been seen since his loss to Orton at Judgment Day, and the two former rivals went toe to toe. The Rock made it pretty clear his intentions- one more match against Orton, at No Mercy. Orton accepted the challenge, vowing to end The Rock once and for all. The Rock had one more announcement to make- to finally settle the score, their match at No Mercy will be a Last Man Standing Match. The No Mercy card was filled out with a big encounter to close SmackDown.

Tyson Kidd joins Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart on the injured list, and two more matches are set for No Mercy, in the tag tournament finals and the final encounter between Randy Orton and The Rock. No Mercy is set to be a stacked card, so don't forget to tune in this Sunday. Here's one final look at the card:

No Mercy 2016 Card:

Cesaro(c) vs AJ Styles- WWE Title Match
The Rock vs Randy Orton- Last Man Standing Match
Dolph Ziggler(c) vs Kevin Owens- No Holds Barred Match for the United States Title
Paige(c) vs Natalya- Women's World Title Match
The Vaudevillains vs American Alpha- SmackDown Tag Team Invitational Finals

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
