Henry's Universe Mode #128: Raw

We are one night removed from Fastlane, where Samoa Joe earned the right to face Goldberg in the main event of WrestleMania. One man takes issue with that fact: the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar doesn't believe Joe has what it takes to defeat Goldberg, nor that Joe is deserving of that main event spot. How will Samoa Joe respond? We'll find out tonight. Plus, it's a grudge match main event, as Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns square off. Raw GM Shane McMahon has added a special stipulation, as the winner will participate in a special Brand Warfare match at WrestleMania. The winner of that match will earn his brand the number one pick in the inaugural WWE Draft, and also will receive a world title match at the next pay-per-view.

Finn Balor vs Luke Harper

After the results of last night, where the Wyatt Family attacked #DIY, Finn Balor issued an open challenge to any member of the Wyatts for a match. Luke Harper accepted, and looked to make Bray Wyatt proud. This performance would certainly do it, as he picked Balor apart. It was a completely one-sided affair, finished off with a brutal discus clothesline. The Wyatt Family are as dangerous as ever, and it appears that they continue to hunt the tag team titles.

Winner: Luke Harper

Alicia Fox vs Sasha Banks

We already know that the Legit Boss will challenge new champion Asuka for the Raw Women's Title at WrestleMania, and Sasha looked to get in a warm-up match against Alicia Fox. As the match began, we got a visit from the Empress of Tomorrow, as she scouted her first challenger. Perhaps spurned on by the presence of Asuka at ringside, Sasha unleashed vicious offense on Fox, picking up an easy win with a Bankrupt neckbreaker.

Winner: Sasha Banks

Samoa Joe vs Xavier Woods

The Samoan Submission Machine was in no mood to play games. He dissected poor Xavier Woods, who never got out of the gates. It was over as soon as it had begun, but Joe wasn't done there...

Winner: Samoa Joe

The 2017 Royal Rumble Winner then took to the mic. He kept it short and sweet, demanding that Brock Lesnar face him in a match next week on Raw, so he could shut up the Beast Incarnate.

Chris Jericho(c) vs ???- United States Title Match

The man who would answer Chris Jericho's open challenge would be none other than the Greatest Man That Ever Lived, Austin Aries. Aries, who debuted in the Royal Rumble match, took it to the cocky champion early on, dominating Y2J. It was quite the showing from A Double, who seemed to be on his way to victory when he locked in the Last Chancery. Jericho showed heart, fought out of the hold and struck with a Codebreaker to rescue victory from the brink of defeat, and retain his title once more.

Winner and still United States Champion: Chris Jericho

Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns

This was a big opportunity for both men, neither of whom have held a world title, to represent Raw at WrestleMania. It was a vicious brawl off the start, as this rivalry had gotten quite heated. It was Kevin Owens, looking to represent the "Kevin Owens Show" at WrestleMania, who benefited from the chaotic style. Roman Reigns was clearly reeling, and Owens capitalized, putting the Big Dog through a table. He tossed Roman back into the ring and connected with a Pop-Up Powerbomb, and it seemed all but over. However, before the official could make the count, Sami Zayn pulled him out of the ring. Zayn and Owens got into a shouting match, as the two old rivals exchanged words. KO rolled back into the ring, just in time for a Spear, and then another, as Roman Reigns will now represent Raw at WrestleMania.

Winner: Roman Reigns

The Big Dog will represent the red brand, but who will represent SmackDown in Brand Warfare? We may well find out tomorrow, as the Road to WrestleMania continues.

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
