AJ Styles Promo

The Phenomenal One opened the show, flaked by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. However, AJ then sent the other two member of The Club to the back, declaring that he wanted to face Ricochet alone. Styles promised that he would be alone again at Backlash, saying that Ricochet had humbled him a few weeks ago and this was now a personal matter. A skeptical Ricochet then entered, promising that no matter what tricks Styles had up his sleeve, The One and Only was walking out of Backlash as the Intercontinental Champion.

Bobby Roode vs John Cena

Edge wanted to suspend Bobby Roode for his attack on Daniel Bryan last week, but instead John Cena convinced the GM that he would beat some sense into Roode. But Cena suffered a demoralizing loss to Drew McIntyre a few weeks ago, and he just didn't seem to be his old self. Bobby Roode dominated this match, hitting a Glorious DDT on the floor and one more in the ring to hand Cena another clean loss.

Winner: Bobby Roode

The Wyatt Family vs ???

Bray Wyatt demanded more competition for his Family, and he would get it, as the Hardy Boyz answered the call! Matt and Jeff Hardy were perhaps the only two men crazy enough to face Luke Harper and Erick Rowan right now, and they brought the fight to the two monsters. With the match in limbo, Bray got involved, yelling at Harper to put Matt Hardy away. But the Eater of Worlds made a huge mistake, as Harper was distracted, and fell prey to the Twist of Fate from Matt! Jeff tagged in, Swanton Bomb! 1......................2.........................3!

Winners: The Hardy Boyz

Post-Match

A furious Bray yelled at an impassive Erick Rowan, before picking up the still dazed Luke Harper and looking to deliver punishment for losing in the form of a Sister Abigail. But Rowan snapped into action, booting Wyatt in the face, and then he and Harper delivered The Bludgeoning to their own leader! What the hell just happened?

Nia Jax vs Sasha Banks

With a no-contact clause in place after last week's brawl, Asuka watched on from ringside as Nia Jax faced a tough challenge in Sasha Banks. The Boss was crafty in this match, going after the legs and arms of the SmackDown Women's Champion, knowing she would not have the power advantage. The offense had little effect, and Sasha needed all her willpower to kick out of the Samoan Drop. In a last ditch effort, Sasha went for the Bank Statement, but Nia easily overpowered her, lifting her to the top rope before delivering a second Samoan Drop that put the former champion away.

Winner: Nia Jax

Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs Samoa Joe and The Usos

Early on, we saw little of the WWE Champion and his challenger, as Zayn and Owens went after The Usos. McIntyre and Joe would tag themselves in, and picked up where they left off last week, beating the hell out of each other with stiff shots. It was the Scottish Psychopath who stood tall, sending Joe rolling to the floor with a Claymore Kick. But now The Usos took over, bringing down the big man with consecutive suicide dives. It was now down to the two tag teams, and with Kevin Owens still feeling the effects of last week's beatdown, Jimmy and Jey took Sami Zayn apart. A last effort by Owens couldn't save his partner, as The Usos got a huge amount of momentum, Jey pinning Zayn with the Uso Splash. The three Samoans stood tall to end SmackDown Live, but will they be victorious this Sunday at Backlash?

Winners: Samoa Joe and The Usos

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
