The New Day vs The Undisputed Era

The trio of Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly had some impressive, hard hitting offense in this match, as they were able to deliver much more damage than their opponents could. The New Day came close several times to getting the win, but eventually Kofi Kingston was put down with Total Elimination.

Winners: The Undisputed Era

Aleister Black vs Shinsuke Nakamura- Falls Count Anywhere

Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura pulled no blows, just exchanging strikes and beating the hell out of each other. The fight spilled into the crowd, and eventually ended up with both men wearing a crimson mask. Shinsuke showed his killer instinct, hitting several sickening chair shots onto Black, before beating the former Universal Champion once again with a Kinshasa.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Authors of Pain(c) vs The B-Team- Raw Tag Team Championship Match

Bo Dallas put in a great effort tonight for the challengers, as his desire to win gave the B-Team a sliver of a chance to win the titles. Unfortunately, the power of Akam won out, and Dallas went down to the Last Chapter.

Winners and still Raw Tag Team Champions: Authors of Pain

Pete Dunne(c) vs Jason Jordan- United Kingdom Championship Match

The Bruiserweight was not interested in a wrestling match tonight, instead using his vicious offense to attempt to shut Jason Jordan up for good. But the self professed True American Hero wasn't prepared to go down easy, surviving some stiff shots from Pete Dunne. Jordan unleashed his inner fighting spirit, and came so close to ending the contest with a back suplex/falling neckbreaker combination. As the challenger looked for the Jordan Slam to win the championship, Dunne countered with a hard forearm, and nailed the Bitter End! But that wasn't enough for Pete Dunne, who dragged Jordan to his feet and put the challenger away for good with another Bitter End.

Winner and still United Kingdom Champion: Pete Dunne

Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins

Before any match could begin, Ambrose and Rollins were already brawling, as they had begun fighting at the Gorilla position. The brawl spilled out onto the stage, and officials rushed out to try and separate the pair. Roman Reigns then tried to help out, but that decision backfired. Ambrose went ballistic, laying out multiple officials, Reigns and Rollins before finally being dragged backstage, leaving absolute carnage in his wake.

Braun Strowman(c) vs Bobby Lashley- Universal Championship Match

In the third and deciding contest, neither of these behemoths were willing to stand down and both knew their opponent well, leading to an incredibly even battle. Bobby Lashley was the first to hit big with a Spear, but only for a near fall. Braun Strowman, a few minutes later, managed to hit a running powerslam, but that was also just a near fall. This hoss fight would only escalate, as both champion and challenger were pushed to their absolute limit. In the end, Strowman went big, managing to lift up Lashley to the top rope, and deliver an incredible powerslam off the top! That was enough to keep The Almighty down, as Braun Strowman continues to find new ways to destroy.

Winner and still Universal Champion: Braun Strowman

Ronda Rousey(c) vs Becky Lynch- Raw Women's Championship Match

The first time these two women met at Summerslam, it was a very technical match. This time, though, it was pretty much a fist fight, as their personal animosity spilled over. With pure hatred, Becky gave it as good as she got with the Baddest Woman on the Planet, as the Irish Lasskicker embraced the war. The fight spilled out to the floor, where Rousey tried to end Lynch for good, powerbombing her into the apron. But Becky still fought on, and nearly dislocated Ronda's arm with a vicious stomp off the top rope. With both women down, suddenly we had an intruder.......

IT"S SHAYNA BASZLER! SHE'S CASHING IN!

Ronda Rousey(c) vs Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler- Raw Women's Championship Match

Ms. Money in the Bank turned this match into a triple threat, blasting Lynch in the back with her briefcase before handing it over to the official. Rousey, grasping her arm, confronted her supposed ally......and got kicked in the face! Shayna Baszler was determined to become champion! But Baszler got caught by Lynch into the Dis-arm-her! Can Becky somehow pull out the win? But no, the Queen of Spades fought her way free before getting a run up and hitting Becky with a big Busaiku knee! An exhausted Lynch had no chance to kick out, as the night ended with Shanya Baszler, the new women's champion, standing tall.

Winner and the NEW Raw Women's Champion: Shayna Baszler

American Dad "Twinanigans" Review

It's been a while since the last Steve and Roger episode, and this week reminded me why that's such a classic American Dad pairing. This is a genuinely fun episode, filled with some great one liners and even a great callback to the show's past. "Twinanigans" centers around the heretofore unmentioned acting careers of Roger and Steve, who twinned it up as the Smith Brothers. I'm not going to question whether this backstory actually makes sense to the overall timeline; no one watches American Dad for continuity. Steve had to give up acting to attend kindergarten, and wants to give Roger a second chance at greatness. The two head to auditions, where Steve impresses and Roger blows it. It's here the episode kinda misfires, as it's never made abundantly clear why Roger struggles so much at acting. Is he just trying too hard, does he have some form of stage fright, does he not even know what acting is? This part of the story is just never explained, w...

Henry's Pay-Per-View Reviews: ECW Heatwave 1998

As the world collectively loses it's mind over the coronavirus(this could be a fun intro to look back on in the future), the only sanity that can be found is in the ring. Let's take a look today at what is often considered ECW's finest outing, Heatwave '98. - Jokes aside, everyone should stay safe out there. I know it's easy to panic about these mass outbreaks, and I've certainly felt very nervous about everything I've heard and read over the past week. But I think we all need some fun in our lives right now, and this show is the epitome of distraction. - The opening contest is one of the highlights of the night, as Jerry Lynn takes on Justin Credible. Credible has an entire entourage in his corner, including Chastity, Jason and Nicole Bass, and their involvement in this match at times bordered on excessive. But the match begins to hit it's peak when Lynn puts Credible through a table with a hurricanrana, and it's all fantastic from...

Henry's Universe Mode #205: SmackDown Live

Over the weekend, big news was broken by SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan, as he announced two title rematches for No Mercy. First up, Kenny Omega will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Randy Orton, and in the second, John Cena will look to make his first defense as WWE Champion against AJ Styles. Tonight on SmackDown Live, it's another Summerslam rematch in the main event, as Alexa Bliss defends against Emma. Can the Australian Sensation punch her ticket to No Mercy? Plus, Heath Slater takes on Aiden English, and the Phenomenal One, AJ Styles, is in singles action. Universe Mode SmackDown Live September 12th, 2017 Location: Dallas, TX Heath Slater vs Aiden English This was a big chance for momentum for both of these two men, as Slater was kicked out of the Social Outcasts a few months ago, while English's tag team partner, Simon Gotch, was recently released. Both of these men showed a lot of potential, and got the crowd invested on a couple of nea...
