Blog Update- April 2019

A pretty big update for this month, and one I feel has been coming for a while. The honest truth is that I haven't been enjoying making Henry's Universe Mode content, and I feel like my low enthusiasm level has massively effected the overall quality of those posts. Clearly there's still an audience- the preview for Part 2 of Summerslam is the highest viewed post in the history of my blog- but just because viewership is there doesn't change my mind. I want to do something I personally enjoy making, and Henry's Universe Mode simply isn't that.

With that said, I'm going to be pivoting quickly to something brand new. The plan for the next two months is to focus on this new series, alongside my American Dad and Cloak & Dagger reviews, when that show returns on Thursday. I don't plan on changing this schedule at all, and hopefully it'll all go off without a hitch.

What is this new series? Well, I don't want to give away too much, as there is an introductory post coming tomorrow with most of the details. I will say that it's somewhat similar to what I did in covering The Dog League, in terms of covering an entire collective of teams and their various moves. I will also say that this new series will be on NBA 2k19.

I also just realized I didn't explain what was happening with Henry's Universe Mode. As of now, that series isn't cancelled, it's simply on hiatus. That hiatus could end up being permanent, I'm not sure, but it does come back, there's a possibility it might be on  a different game. I've been itching to do something with Fire Pro for a while, so in the future I might make that transition. Could I still call it Universe Mode if it's not on the WWE games? I suppose that's all in the very distant future. For now, though, that's all I have to say on this unintentionally long blog update. Enjoy the month of content!

Henry's Universe Mode: 2017 WWE Draft

We are here today to conduct the first ever WWE Draft, where Raw and SmackDown competitors will learn the fates heading into Season 3 of Henry's Universe Mode. In this post, I will give an explanation of the rules, before unveiling each draft pick and giving you my thoughts. Enjoy! Rules -Each brand will have five draft picks, ten picks total. -Champions are not eligible to be drafted. -Tag teams/stables can be drafted as a unit or individuals, depending on what the GM wants and what the wrestler wants. -Thanks to winning Brand Warfare, SmackDown will get the first pick, while Raw will get the last pick. The 2017 WWE Draft begins..........right now! Pick #1- SmackDown selects Brock Lesnar What a way to start of the draft, as the Beast Incarnate in heading to Tuesday Nights. Since losing to Samoa Joe a few weeks ago on Raw, we haven't seen anything from Brock Lesnar. This move will certainly have most of the SmackDown roster looking over their shoulder. ...

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Latest Update on new puppy

As you may well know from my mom's posts, there is a handsome puppy in the house. His name is Rascal, which appropriately fits him. Before Tuesday, he'd never had much problem with the crate, something I found interesting. He'd also never experienced anxiety issues when people came and left. Then yesterday, my dad and I were standing in the driveway organizing things for a trip to Goodwill. All of a sudden, Rascal freaked out. Some history behind the newest member of our family. Rascal was a stray in Hollister, when CARE, a rescue organization, found him. At this time Rascal was estimated to be about 2 months old, the age of a puppy when you first get them. He went to another family, who had him for quite a while, around 5 months. Then, without explanation, this family moved to Ohio, surrendering Rascal. CARE once again had him and his crazy antics for about a month. Rascal's name was changed to Boots in his time with CARE, but he wouldn't answer to that name. He ...
