The War Raiders(c) vs The Ascension- Extreme Rules Match for the NXT Tag Team Championships

As you could've expected, this was a chaotic brawl with little in the way of actual wrestling, as all four guys took turns beating each other up. But it was Hanson and Rowe who would give Konnor and Viktor the Viking experience on this night, as Viktor took a piledriver to the floor and Konnor was put away with Death Rowe.

Winners and still NXT Tag Team Champions: The War Raiders

Keith Lee vs Matt Riddle

These two good friends put on a showcase match tonight, with Lee using his incredible athleticism and Riddle trading back with big strikes and mat work. In the end, it was the King of Bros who continued to move up the ladder, able to tap Lee out with the Bromission.

Winner: Matt Riddle

Io Shirai(c) vs Bianca Belair- NXT Women's Championship Match

We've seen Bianca Belair get her chance and deliver in the past, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park with the women's championship at stake. The EST of NXT won Philly over with her incredible power, including an astonishing deadlift gorilla press slam that no one could quite believe they just witnessed. And after countering Shirai's moonsault, Belair put it all on the line, hitting a 450 splash! But somehow, the resilience of Shirai won out, just managing to kick out at two. The Genius of the Sky managed to lay Bianca out with a vicious german suplex, and hit her moonsault on the second attempt to survive this incredible challenge.

Winner and still NXT Women's Champion: Io Shirai

Cedric Alexander(c) vs Mustafa Ali- Cruiserweight Championship Match

This was a very even, back and forth contest, as these two respected competitors duked it out. The biggest story of this match was Alexander's continued attempts to hit the Lumbar Check, all thwarted by Ali. With the match drawing to a close, Cedric connected with a springboard lariat that knocked Mustafa loopy. Once again, the champion went for the Lumbar Check, but that was a pivotal mistake, as Ali countered into a small package, and stole the Cruiserweight Championship!

Winner and the NEW Cruiserweight Champion: Mustafa Ali

EC3(c) vs Velveteen Dream- Extreme Rules Match for the NXT Championship

The Velveteen Dream did everything he possibly could to destroy EC3 in this match, hitting him over and over again with steel chairs, kendo sticks and baseball bats. At one point, Dream even put EC3 through the announce desk with the Purple Rainmaker! But despite the incredible punishment he had taken, EC3 fought on, unwilling to ever let go of his precious NXT Championship. The Dream grew more and more frustrated, so intent on finally beating his rival. The challenger's desire to win saw him take things to new heights, literally, laying out EC3 on a table and scaling a ladder, intent on hitting one big move to put the champion away. But EC3, at the last second, rolled to safety, and the Dream crashed through the table! The challenger's anger had gotten the better of him, and EC3 capitalized, hitting the One Percenter to escape with his title yet again.

Winner and still NXT Champion: EC3

American Dad "Twinanigans" Review

It's been a while since the last Steve and Roger episode, and this week reminded me why that's such a classic American Dad pairing. This is a genuinely fun episode, filled with some great one liners and even a great callback to the show's past. "Twinanigans" centers around the heretofore unmentioned acting careers of Roger and Steve, who twinned it up as the Smith Brothers. I'm not going to question whether this backstory actually makes sense to the overall timeline; no one watches American Dad for continuity. Steve had to give up acting to attend kindergarten, and wants to give Roger a second chance at greatness. The two head to auditions, where Steve impresses and Roger blows it. It's here the episode kinda misfires, as it's never made abundantly clear why Roger struggles so much at acting. Is he just trying too hard, does he have some form of stage fright, does he not even know what acting is? This part of the story is just never explained, w...

Henry's Pay-Per-View Reviews: ECW Heatwave 1998

As the world collectively loses it's mind over the coronavirus(this could be a fun intro to look back on in the future), the only sanity that can be found is in the ring. Let's take a look today at what is often considered ECW's finest outing, Heatwave '98. - Jokes aside, everyone should stay safe out there. I know it's easy to panic about these mass outbreaks, and I've certainly felt very nervous about everything I've heard and read over the past week. But I think we all need some fun in our lives right now, and this show is the epitome of distraction. - The opening contest is one of the highlights of the night, as Jerry Lynn takes on Justin Credible. Credible has an entire entourage in his corner, including Chastity, Jason and Nicole Bass, and their involvement in this match at times bordered on excessive. But the match begins to hit it's peak when Lynn puts Credible through a table with a hurricanrana, and it's all fantastic from...

Curious Crab

One Monday night my mom looked into my crabitat and found that a crab had climbed into one of my fake trees. It was in the top branch. I looked in later, and found that the crab had fallen out of the tree. I hope he is okay. What a day!
