The Dog League: Week 4 Preview(2019 Season)

We open this week with a big move, as a trade has been made. Tug of War sends Philip Rivers to first place Rare Woofs for Cooper Kupp, and I'll get to why this trade was made when we look at the individual teams. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com) Tug of War Current Record: (0-3, 6th place) With Dak Prescott currently playing extremely well and in a good matchup against the Saints, Tug of War solidifies their receiver position, giving up backup QB Rivers to acquire Cooper Kupp, the 6th best receiver in the league. He starts this week over Emmanuel Sanders, while Tug of War brings in Jared Goff to be the new backup, dropping John Brown. With Saquon Barkley out for the next couple months, Joe Mixon is the new starter, while they dropped David Montgomery to get Barkley's replacement in New York, Wayne Gallman. Finally, they'll stream the Chargers defense this week, dropping the Texans, as LA faces an extremely lackluster Do

The Dog League: Week 3 Review(2019 Season)

Rare Woofs keeps on cruising while Leaping Girl and Tailwaggerz engage in a shootout in Week 3 of the Dog League. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com) Game 1: Tug of War(131.24) vs Rare Woofs(142.24) ANALYSIS Running backs Dalvin Cook(24.3 points) and Christian McCaffrey(27.8 points) led the way for Rare Woofs' third straight win to open the season, giving them the undisputed lead atop the league. Amari Cooper(26.8 points) was also excellent, while Cooper Kupp(33.2 points) provides an intriguing weapon off the bench. A large amount of the loss for Tug of War falls onto an early injury taken by Saquon Barkley(7.7 points) which leaves them without much depth at the running back position. A great game from Keenan Allen(43.6 points) at least provided a highlight, but this team is struggling big to start the year, now 0-3 and left without their top pick for the next two months. Game 2: Tailwaggerz(159.04) vs Leaping Girl(151.28)

Henry's Universe Mode(Season 5): No Mercy 2019

Tonight, "The Fiend" arrives. The demented alter-ego of Bray Wyatt, the most sadistic force of nature on the Raw roster, challenges for the Universal Championship. And for the entirety of the red brand, Aleister Black must emerge victorious tonight, for if Raw's top prize leaves in the possession of "The Fiend" tonight, then the entire brand may be doomed. But if there was a man to step up to this monster, it would be Aleister Black. Since winning the 2018 Royal Rumble, "The Dutch Destroyer" has been the one of the absolute, undeniable best on Raw. capturing the Universal Championship twice and defeating The Undertaker at WrestleMania. For all his accomplishments and dominance, this is the biggest night and the biggest fight of Aleister Black's life. Tonight must end in victory for Aleister Black, for defeat means the possibility of no tomorrow. It's time for war. And now, Raw presents......................No Mercy! Univers

Henry's Universe Mode(Season 5): No Mercy 2019 Preview

Raw hosts it's first brand exclusive pay-per-view since May's Bad Blood as the fallout from Summerslam is felt on the red brand. No Mercy 2019 Card Shinsuke Nakamura vs ??? We open the show with the former Universal Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura as he hosts an open challenge. Since losing his title, Nakamura has been adrift, showing up at random and behaving in very odd ways, attacking members of the roster for no discernible reason. Goldberg called Nakamura out, hoping to get to the bottom of Shinsuke's strange behavior. Nakamura showed up to the ring to demand an open challenge, to prove that he is still capable of beating the best of the best. Who will Goldberg choose to face Raw's former champion? Alexa Bliss vs Toni Storm These two women have been butting heads quite frequently lately, all stemming from Alexa Bliss' resentment towards Toni Storm. Bliss was not pleased by how quickly Storm was able to get a title shot, and has made her displeasure

The Dog League: Week 3 Preview(2019 Season)

Leaping Girl and Rare Woofs look to keep their winning streaks alive in Week 3. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com) Bark Force Current Record: (0-2, 6th place) Bark Force open the week by handing out a starting job to Aaron Jones, who was magnificent last week(25 points) as he starts over Matt Breida. They drop O.J. Howard to acquire Greg Olsen, who starts over Delanie Walker, and drop the Panthers defense to pick up the Cowboys, who start with an excellent match-up against the hapless Dolphins. Finally, Duke Johnson was dropped for Peyton Barber, who has solidified the lead role in Tampa Bay and the largely underwhelming Stefon Diggs was dropped for rookie Terry McLaurin. Week 3 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals) QB Patrick Mahomes RB Todd Gurley RB Nick Chubb WR DeAndre Hopkins WR JuJu Smith-Schuster TE Greg Olsen RB Aaron Jones K Justin Tucker DEF Dallas Cowboys Tug of War Current Record: (0-2, 5th place) Tw

The Dog League: Week 2 Review(2019 Season)

Tailwaggerz hits a stumbling block and Leaping Girl soars in Week 2 of the 2019 Season. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com) Game 1: Tug of War(137.22) vs Leaping Girl(158.7) ANALYSIS Led by her Patriots defense(42 points) and new breakout star Austin Ekeler(23.3 points), Emma has taken first place just two weeks into the year. Despite all the issues that plagued her team in preseason, she continues to look strong for the future, with Chris Godwin(26.1 points), Lamar Jackson(30.88 points) and Vance McDonald(22.8 points) providing good depth on the bench. This was another disappointing loss for Tug of War, as they have faced the top scoring team in the league in both of the first two weeks of the year. Their team put forth a very strong performance, though they do face issues at the quarterback position, with Philip Rivers(10.92 points) and Jacoby Brissett(16.34 points) not really up to the normal Dog League standards. Game 2: Ridi

The Dog League: Week 2 Preview(2019 Season)

Last year's top two teams face off while Tug of War looks to rebound from a tough loss. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com) Ridiculous Rascals Current Record: (0-1, 6th place) Rascal opens up the week by starting Sammy Watkins, last week's top scorer, over Leonard Fournette and dropping the Lions defense to acquire the Titans, who will also start. Rascal also adds a couple of rookies to his bench, dropping Tarik Cohen for Marquise "Hollywood" Brown and picking up T.J. Hockenson for Jordan Reed. UPDATE: With Hunter Henry to miss the next 4-6 weeks of action, Rascal has dropped Henry to add Mark Andrews, who will start this week.  Week 2 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz) QB Aaron Rodgers RB Ezekiel Elliott RB James Conner WR Julio Jones WR Adam Thielen TE Mark Andrews WR Sammy Watkins K Ka'imi Fairbairn DEF Tennessee Titans Bark Force Current Record: (0-1, 5th place) Bark Force makes three chang

The Dog League: Week 1 Review(2019 Season)

The defending champions start the year off strong and Leaping Girl shocks everyone in Week 1 of the Dog League. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com) Game 1: Tug of War(152.02) vs Tailwaggerz(209.82) ANALYSIS It's more difficult to list what didn't go right for Tailwaggerz, as last year's champions start off the campaign by becoming the first team to score over 200 points in a game. Deshaun Watson(30.72 points), David Johnson(25.7), Alvin Kamara(23.9), T.Y. Hilton(28.7), Evan Engram(28.6) and Chris Carson(24.1) were all excellent, and somehow the worst scorer was Odell Beckham(14.1). And that's not even mentioning the 81 more points they had on the bench! Tug of War was extremely unfortunate to lose this game, as they were the second highest scorers this week. They were lead by Philip Rivers(23.9 points), Keenan Allen(26.3) and Michael Thomas(22.3), though Joe Mixon(3.7) both struggled and got injured, forcing the team

The Dog League: Week 1 Preview(2019 Season)

The 2019 season kicks off for the Dog League this week, as after months of inactivity the six teams finally get a chance to see what their new rosters can do. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com) Leaping Girl As long as the Dog League has existed, Leaping Girl has been a laughingstock, finishing in last place in all three seasons. Picking last in the draft, she procured a decent roster before taking a major stroke of bad luck, as Melvin Gordon has held out for a new contract and his status is in limbo. Leaping Girl starts off the year by sorting out her Charger running back situation. With Gordon missing at least Week 1, she drops Justin Jackson and picks up Austin Ekeler. Ekeler starts over Devonta Freeman in the flex spot, while Phillip Lindsay becomes the team's #2 back. UPDATE: After a tumultuous, Antonio Brown has been released by the Raiders and Emma has let him go to, bringing in Josh Gordon though Chris Godwin will get the

Henry's Universe Mode(Season 5): Summerslam 2019 (Part 2)

Part 2 of Summerslam opens with Adam Cole defending his United States Championship against Kassius Ohno, as The Undisputed Era look to leave the Biggest Party of the Summer draped in gold. Plus, Finn Balor leads his boys against the Dream Team, Kevin Owens battles Steve Austin and The Velveteen Dream makes his main roster debut against The Undertaker. And in Part 2's main event, everything is at stake for Monday Night Raw as Aleister Black defends the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar. Summerslam 2019 Theme Song- "Shoot to Thrill"- AC/DC Adam Cole(c) vs Kassius Ohno- United States Championship Match With all the pressure on him to step up, Adam Cole wrestled smart in an attempt to out-fox Kassius Ohno. Cole focused most of his offense on the neck and right forearm of Ohno, attempting to neutralize Ohno's power as well as set a target to exploit. Early on, it didn't make much of a difference, as Ohno easily took Cole down ag
