The Dog League: Week 4 Preview(2019 Season)

We open this week with a big move, as a trade has been made. Tug of War sends Philip Rivers to first place Rare Woofs for Cooper Kupp, and I'll get to why this trade was made when we look at the individual teams. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Tug of War

Current Record: (0-3, 6th place)

With Dak Prescott currently playing extremely well and in a good matchup against the Saints, Tug of War solidifies their receiver position, giving up backup QB Rivers to acquire Cooper Kupp, the 6th best receiver in the league. He starts this week over Emmanuel Sanders, while Tug of War brings in Jared Goff to be the new backup, dropping John Brown. With Saquon Barkley out for the next couple months, Joe Mixon is the new starter, while they dropped David Montgomery to get Barkley's replacement in New York, Wayne Gallman. Finally, they'll stream the Chargers defense this week, dropping the Texans, as LA faces an extremely lackluster Dolphins squad.

Week 4 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Dak Prescott
RB Derrick Henry
RB Joe Mixon
WR Keenan Allen
WR Michael Thomas
TE Zach Ertz
WR Cooper Kupp
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Los Angeles Chargers

Ridiculous Rascals

(Current Record: 1-2, 5th place)

After being the lowest scoring team in the league last week, Rascal seeks redemption against the winless Tug of War. He makes a big move off the bat, dropping Calvin Ridley to acquire Sterling Shepard, who goes right into the starting lineup, replacing Adam Thielen. Shepard gets a great matchup this week against the Redskins, while Rascal is worried about Thielen's trip to Chicago. He also drops Raheem Mostert to add Phillip Dorsett, and drops Eddy Pineiro to add the Steelers defense, who start this week in an ideal matchup against the Bengals. Finally, he starts Darren Waller over Mark Andrews, as Waller prepares to face the Colts, who haven't been great at defending tight ends.

Week 4 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)

QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB James Conner
WR Julio Jones
WR Sammy Watkins
TE Darren Waller
WR Sterling Shepard
K Brett Maher
DEF Pittsburgh Steelers

Bark Force

Current Record: (1-2, 4th place)

With one win now on the year, Bark Force brings in an exciting new starter, as rookie Terry McLaurin replaces Aaron Jones in the flex spot. They also have two new backup running backs, dropping Peyton Barber and Matt Breida to add Devonta Freeman and Miles Sanders. Finally, they make a change at defense but stay in the NFC West, dropping the Seahawks to add the Rams, who will get the start this week.

UPDATE: With Terry McLaurin dealing with a hamstring injury, Bark Force will go with Tyler Lockett in the flex spot instead.

Week 4 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Todd Gurley
RB Nick Chubb
WR DeAndre Hopkins
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster
TE Greg Olsen
WR Tyler Lockett
K Justin Tucker
DEF Los Angeles Rams

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (2-1, 3rd place)

Already dealing with the effect of bye weeks, Emma makes plenty of changes to her roster this week. She drops last week's streaming option, Frank Gore, to add this week's version, Mike Williams, and drops Vance McDonald to add Austin Hooper, who gets the start as George Kittle is on bye. Le'Veon Bell is also on bye, so Mark Ingram gets his starting spot, while Phillip Lindsay also gets a start and Russell Wilson retakes the top quarterback spot, sending Lamar Jackson back to the bench.

UPDATE: With Mike Williams ruled out this week, Emma has dropped him to add D.J. Moore, who gets the starting spot.

Week 4 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Russell Wilson
RB Mark Ingram
RB Austin Ekeler
WR Mike Evans
WR D.J. Moore
TE Austin Hooper
RB Phillip Lindsay
K Stephen Gostkowski
DEF New England Patriots

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (2-1, 2nd place)

With two backups, Tyler Boyd and Josh Jacobs, in good matchups this week against the Steelers and Colts respectively, Tailwaggerz makes a few changes to the starting lineup. Larry Fitzgerald moves to the bench in place of Boyd, while Jacobs starts over Sony Michel. The defending champions also get a new backup tight end, dropping Jason Witten to add Jordan Akins, and start the Ravens defense this week as they face the wildly disappointing Browns.

Week 4 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB David Johnson
RB Alvin Kamara
WR Odell Beckham
WR Tyler Boyd
TE Evan Engram
RB Josh Jacobs
K Harrison Butker
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (3-0, 1st place)

With plenty of depth at receiver, Rare Woofs gave up Cooper Kupp to acquire Philip Rivers, who starts immediately over Tom Brady as he faces the Dolphins. They also decided to start Kerryon Johnson over fellow Lion Kenny Golladay this week, as Johnson faces a Chiefs defense that were just bulldozed by Mark Ingram. With a solid team everywhere else, their final move was to drop the 49ers defense, who are on bye, to add the Jaguars who should be in a slow scoring affair in Denver this week.

Week 4 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Philip Rivers
RB Dalvin Cook
RB Christian McCaffrey
WR Davante Adams
WR Amari Cooper
TE Travis Kelce
RB Kerryon Johnson
K Wil Lutz
DEF Jacksonville Jaguars

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
