The Dog League: Week 5 Review(2019 Season)

In which THE STREAK IS OVER! (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Game 1: Tug of War(190.82) vs Bark Force(181.44)

ANALYSIS

After a month filled with injuries, trades and the worst luck imaginable, Tug of War has finally won a game, and it took a ridiculous effort to get it. The wide receivers led the way, as Michael Thomas(41.2 points), Cooper Kupp(26.7 points) and Chris Godwin(31.5 points) helped make up for a poor showing by the Bears defense(4 points). Bark Force, scoring the most points in a loss in league history, really had only two good scorers, but season-high performances from Aaron Jones(49.2 points) and the Eagles defense(40 points) still gave them a chance. In the end, it was a truly repugnant performance from Greg Olsen(0 points) that cost Bark Force, as Nick Chubb(10.9 points) couldn't make the comeback on Monday night.

Game 2: Tailwaggerz(136.96) vs Rare Woofs(215.22)

ANALYSIS

The loss of Davante Adams did nothing to slow Rare Woofs down, as last year's runner-up is now 5-0 to begin the season. Christian McCaffrey(47.7 points) continues to be the team's bell cow, though a strong performance from Amari Cooper(39.6 points) opened the floodgates. Julian Edelman(25 points) returned to the starting lineup with a big game, and the 49ers defense(24 points) went nuts on Monday night to earn Rare Woofs the highest team score in league history. For Tailwaggerz, Deshaun Watson(41.74 points) was stellar, but the rest of the team wasn't overly terrific, especially Odell Beckham(5 points) who has had a rough two weeks. The good news for Tailwaggerz is the potential return of Tyreek Hill, as the star receiver is on the cusp of retaking the field, but they may not have Evan Engram(10.7 points) available this week, so the team may be on the lookout for a new tight end.

Game 3: Ridiculous Rascals(107.32) vs Leaping Girl(121.04)

ANALYSIS

It seemed like disaster had struck Leaping Girl, after new acquisition Keenan Allen(5.8 points) was held in check by Denver and Mike Evans(0 points) posted a goose egg. But Austin Ekeler(22.3 points) kept her in it, Adam Vinatieri(13 points) was solid on Sunday night and George Kittle(20.8 points) finished in off on Monday, as Emma pulled out a close win to take second place. Rascal was let down by a couple of his main stars, as Aaron Rodgers(9.42 points) and Julio Jones(7.2 points) couldn't get the job done, and wasted the best game of the season so far by Adam Thielen(32 points). Three missed kicks by Robbie Gould(4 points) didn't help, as Rascal has become the king of missed opportunities, as he's had the least amount of points against this year, but also has the least points scored.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...
