The Dog League: Week 8 Review(2019 Season)

Rare Woofs continue to flex their might in Week 8 of the Dog League. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Game 1: Tug of War(163.38) vs Rare Woofs(195.36)

ANALYSIS

The rich get richer, as Rare Woofs added JuJu Smith-Schuster(21.3 points) for a spot start and Tevin Coleman(37.8 points) to their bench as the league leaders get even stronger. They got great performances from their stars, Dalvin Cook(28.1 points) and Christian McCaffrey(27.5 points) and receivers Julian Edelman(27.5 points) and Kenny Golladay(28.3 points) stepped up in the absence of Davante Adams and Amari Cooper. Add in a feast from the 49ers defense(22 points) and this team looks totally unstoppable right now. For Tug of War, this was another tough loss, as they scored extremely well in defeat, with Saquon Barkley(28.3 points), Michael Thomas(27.3 points) and Cooper Kupp(35 points) leading the way. A really quiet game from Zach Ertz(4 points), and a lesser performance from Chris Godwin(10.3 points) didn't help, but there was really no winning a game like this.

Game 2: Leaping Girl(147.88) vs Tailwaggerz(119.16)

ANALYSIS

It didn't start off well for Emma this week, as Le'Veon Bell(6.5 points) and spot starter Robert Woods(6.2 points) both struggled. D.J. Chark(19.9 points) and the Patriots defense(21 points) gave her a route back in it, but she needed one big scorer. Enter Mike Evans(42.8 points) who torched the Titans secondary for his second 40+ point game of the year, keeping Leaping Girl in the chase for the top spot in the league. Tailwaggerz were short handed this week, missing David Johnson and Alvin Kamara, and did get a heroic performance from Deshaun Watson(27.76 points) to keep them in it. Tyreek Hill(14.1 points) gave it a try on Sunday night, but they ended up falling well short, held by quiet days from Josh Jacobs(10.1 points) and T.Y. Hilton(7.4 points). With this loss, the defending champions now drop below .500 on the year.

Game 3: Ridiculous Rascals(146.2) vs Bark Force(157.68)

ANALYSIS

For most of the day, Bark Force was led by Matthew Stafford(23.38 points) and DeAndre Hopkins(21.9 points) who kept the team in it while Hunter Henry(8.7 points) disappointed on his debut. Then on Sunday night, Aaron Jones(41.6 points) took over, and the game quickly fell out of reach for Rascal. He did have two stellar performances from his stars, Aaron Rodgers(27.1 points) and Julio Jones(25.2 points), and nearly put together an incredible Monday night comeback led by James Conner(24 points) and the Steelers defense(18 points), but it wasn't enough. Quiet games from Darren Waller(9.1 points) and Sony Michel(7.4 points), plus the absences of Ezekiel Elliott and Adam Thielen were too much for Rascal to overcome, who now drops into fifth place at a meager 3-5 record.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...
