The Dog League: Week 7 Preview(2019 Season)

Bark Force looks to turn around their horrible luck against Rare Woofs, who themselves attempt to recover from their first loss of the season last week. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Tug of War

Current Record: (1-5, 6th place)

With one of their most consistent players of the last two weeks, Chris Godwin, on bye, now is a good time for Tug of War to welcome back Saquon Barkley, who returns after a month long absence. He's joined by Chicago's defense, who replace the Chargers unit in the starting lineup, and Tug of War also brings in some new backups. Will Dissly, likely out for the rest of the year, was dropped for Darren Fells, while Emmanuel Sanders was dropped for Calvin Ridley. And the league's worst team saved the biggest move for last, as they dropped Jameis Winston to add Drew Brees, who may be coming back very soon.

Week 7 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Dak Prescott
RB Leonard Fournette
RB Saquon Barkley
WR Michael Thomas
WR Cooper Kupp
TE Zach Ertz
RB Derrick Henry
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Chicago Bears

Bark Force

Current Record: (2-4, 5th place)

After two tough losses in a row, Bark Force approaches a must win game against the first place Rare Woofs, and they'll have to find victory without top running back Nick Chubb, who is on bye. They'll replace him with Devonta Freeman, and hope that the unlikely duo of Freeman and Aaron Jones can get the job done. Stefon Diggs, coming off a big game against the Eagles(43.5 points) will start in the flex over Terry McLaurin, while Delanie Walker starts over Greg Olsen, who is also on bye. Finally, Bark Force will stream in the Bills defense this week, starting them over the Rams as they prepare to face the dismal Miami Dolphins.

UPDATE: Bark Force has elected to bench Stefon Diggs today, as the Lions defense has been pretty good and their secondary is getting healthier, while Todd Gurley retakes a starting spot with Malcolm Brown sidelined.

Week 7 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Todd Gurley
RB Aaron Jones
WR DeAndre Hopkins
WR Tyler Lockett
TE Delanie Walker
RB Devonta Freeman
K Justin Tucker
DEF Buffalo Bills

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (3-3, 4th place)

T.Y. Hilton and Evan Engram look set to return this week for Tailwaggerz, who brings them both into the starting lineup, with Hilton replacing the on-bye Odell Beckham. The team faces a very tricky issue with top running back Alvin Kamara this week, who is reportedly dealing with a high ankle injury. For now, Kamara has moved to the flex spot, with David Johnson and Chris Carson listed as the top two backs. If Kamara needs to be replaced during the week, they do have Josh Jacobs and Larry Firtzgerald as the top two options for a replacement, with Jordan Howard providing an emergency backup if needed. They also brought in a new backup tight end, dropping Gerald Everett to add Jason Witten.

UPDATE: With Alvin Kamara ruled out, Josh Jacobs will get the start this week. Plus, with David Johnson a game time decision, he's been moved to the flex spot, to be replaced by Larry Fitzgerald if he is out this week.

Week 7 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB Chris Carson
RB Josh Jacobs
WR T.Y. Hilton
WR Tyreek Hill
TE Evan Engram
RB David Johnson
K Harrison Butker
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (3-3, 3rd place)

Rascal has mostly been very fortunate this season, having the least points scored against him of any team in the league. That great luck paid off for him big time last week, becoming the first team to defeat Rare Woofs this season. He does have to replace James Conner this week, as he's on bye, so Rascal brings in Marlon Mack to get the start. He will stream the Packers defense against the inconsistent Raiders offense, starting them over the Cowboys, and drops Sterling Shepard to add Sony Michel to be a backup running back.

Week 7 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Matt Ryan
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB Marlon Mack
WR Julio Jones
WR Adam Thielen
TE Mark Andrews
WR Will Fuller
K Robbie Gould
DEF Green Bay Packers

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (4-2, 2nd place)

With two wins in a row, Emma now sits just one game out of first place. This week, Mike Evans is on bye, so she'll start Michael Gallup, who faces a vulnerable Eagles secondary and may get extra work with Amari Cooper's status in question. She does also have Robert Woods as a backup option, if necessary. After a couple quieter games, Emma sends Mark Ingram to the bench in favor of Phillip Lindsay, and brings back George Kittle to start over Austin Hooper. Finally, she has another new kicker this week, as Jake Elliott was dropped for Zane Gonzalez, who has a great chance for points against the Giants.

Week 7 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)

QB Russell Wilson
RB Le'Veon Bell
RB Phillip Lindsay
WR Keenan Allen
WR D.J. Chark
TE George Kittle
WR Michael Gallup
K Zane Gonzalez
DEF New England Patriots

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (5-1, 1st place)

This is going to be a very, very difficult week for Rare Woofs. Not only are they coming off their first defeat of the season, but Christian McCaffrey is on bye and two of their top receivers, Davante Adams and Amari Cooper are very much in doubt to play. They do list both receivers as starters, but have Kenny Golladay as a backup for Adams and Alshon Jeffery as a backup for Cooper. As for replacing McCaffrey, the league leaders have taken a big gamble. Out goes LeSean McCoy, in comes rookie Devin Singletary, who returns from injury to face the lowly Dolphins. Rare Woofs will gamble on the younster's big play ability, as he gets a big spot start this week.

UPDATE: With Davante Adams ruled out once again, Kenny Golladay will start this week.

Week 7 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)

QB Tom Brady
RB Dalvin Cook
RB Devin Singletary
WR Julian Edelman
WR Kenny Golladay
TE Travis Kelce
WR Amari Cooper
K Wil Lutz
DEF San Francisco 49ers

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
