The Dog League: Week 6 Preview(2019 Season)

Leaping Girl aims for the top as she faces Bark Force while Rare Woofs faces the underachieving Ridiculous Rascals, looking for a sixth straight win. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Tug of War

Current Record: (1-4, 6th place)

Now with one win to their name, Tug of War was very quiet this week, making one change on the bench after dropping Wayne Gallman to bring back Joe Mixon. However, they will leave Mixon and Melvin Gordon on the bench, sticking with the solid duo of Derrick Henry and Leonard Fournette at running back. They were forced into making a change at defense, as Chicago is on bye, so the Chargers defense will start instead, as they face a Steelers team that could be without starting quarterback Mason Rudolph following his scary concussion on Sunday.

Week 6 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Dak Prescott
RB Derrick Henry
RB Leonard Fournette
WR Michael Thomas
WR Cooper Kupp
TE Zach Ertz
WR Chris Godwin
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Los Angeles Chargers

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (2-3, 5th place)

This team has gone ice cold the last two weeks, with Tailwaggerz really lacking the scoring required to keep pace with the rest of the Dog League. To make things worse, Evan Engram is out injured and T.Y. Hilton is on bye, so they made some changes. Jimmy Graham was dropped for Gerald Everett, who gets the start, and the team tentatively pencils in Tyreek Hill to start this week in place of Hilton. If Hill can't go, they do have two very solid backup options in Tyler Boyd and Larry Fitzgerald. Finally, Tailwaggerz dropped Eddy Pineiro to bring in Ka'imi Fairbairn as their new backup kicker.

Week 6 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB David Johnson
RB Alvin Kamara
WR Odell Beckham
WR Tyreek Hill
TE Gerald Everett
RB Chris Carson
K Harrison Butker
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (2-3, 4th place)

The biggest news for Rascal this week is the benching of Aaron Rodgers, who has been sat for Matt Ryan after Rodgers stunk up the joint in last week's loss to Emma. Rascal makes a couple more moves, dropping Phillip Dorsett for Will Fuller, who starts over Marquise Brown, and drops Jaylen Samuels for Matt Breida. With Darren Waller on bye, Mark Andrews returns to the starting lineup, and finally, Rascal drops the Steelers defense to pick up the Cowboys, who he will start in a very good match-up against the Jets.

Week 6 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)

QB Matt Ryan
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB James Conner
WR Julio Jones
WR Adam Thielen
TE Mark Andrews
WR Will Fuller
K Robbie Gould
DEF Dallas Cowboys

Bark Force

Current Record: (2-3, 3rd place)

Bark Force suffered a tough loss last week, and have had a couple starters not fully playing up to expectations this year, namely Todd Gurley and DeAndre Hopkins. Still, the roster is stacked and the starting lineup is excellent on paper, so Bark Force makes no major changes this week. They will start the Rams defense over the Eagles as they prepare to face the undefeated 49ers this week, as Bark Force hopes the absence of fullback Kyle Juszczyk might limit San Francisco's ground game.

UPDATE: With Todd Gurley doubtful, Bark Force will start Terry McLaurin this week instead.

Week 6 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Aaron Jones
RB Nick Chubb
WR DeAndre Hopkins
WR Tyler Lockett
TE Greg Olsen
WR Terry McLaurin
K Justin Tucker
DEF Los Angeles Rams

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (3-2, 2nd place)

After a rough game last week, Emma sends Lamar Jackson to the bench, as Russell Wilson takes back his starting job. She does make a potentially controversial start/sit decision, as Austin Ekeler is benched for D.J. Chark. Ekeler could do well against the Steelers on Sunday night, but with Keenan Allen already starting, she'd rather not gamble too much on a Chargers offense that has had some struggles this year. Now, starting Chark is still a risk, but he was great last week(36.4 points) so she wants to see what he's got. Chark may have to face Marshon Lattimore, who limited Mike Evans to no catches last week, so she'll have to hope D.J. can solve the conundrum that Mike couldn't. She also does have to make a change at kicker with Adam Vinatieri on bye, so she brings in Jake Elliott for a game against Minnesota that could include a lot of field goals.

UPDATE: With George Kittle banged up and questionable, Emma has turned to Austin Hooper to start today against a Cardinals defense that has been torched by tight ends all year.

Week 6 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)

QB Russell Wilson
RB Mark Ingram
RB Le'Veon Bell
WR Keenan Allen
WR Mike Evans
TE Austin Hooper
WR D.J. Chark
K Jake Elliott
DEF New England Patriots

Rare Woofs

Current Record: (5-0, 1st place)

Looking for their sixth straight win in a row, Rare Woofs welcomes back Davante Adams this week, who they hope will play on Monday night, sending Alshon Jeffery to the bench. They will have to keep an eye out for injuries, though, as Adams is no certainty to play, and neither is Christian McCaffrey, who is dealing with a back issue. On top of all that, Julian Edelman is questionable for tomorrow night's game, so in light of all of these issues, Rare Woofs drops Demarcus Robinson to add Courtland Sutton, who adds to their massive amount of bench depth that includes Kerryon Johnson, Kenny Golladay, Jeffery and LeSean McCoy.

UPDATE: With Davante Adams now ruled out, Kerryon Johnson will start instead.

Week 6 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Tom Brady
RB Dalvin Cook
RB Christian McCaffrey
WR Julian Edelman
WR Amari Cooper
TE Travis Kelce
RB Kerryon Johnson
K Wil Lutz
DEF San Francisco 49ers

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
