Survival. It's what all beings strive for, what brings life and prosperity to the tribe. Survival by any means, by any method. To survive the worst is triumph, to rise above that which holds you back, the demons that haunt your soul. Survival is everything, and failure is unforgivable.

The Wyatt Family vs The Shield
The Shield were a disjointed, dysfunctional mess heading into this match, with The Architect Seth Rollins desperately trying to hold it together. Things fell apart pretty quickly for the Hounds of Justice, with Ambrose and Reigns arguing over who would start the match. Although Ambrose and Reigns were fine tagging in Rollins, both refused to tag each other, and The Wyatt Family took advantage. They isolated Ambrose and took out Rollins, controlling the match. Ambrose, desperate, tried to make a tag to Reigns, but Roman refused, hopping off the apron and refusing to enter the match. Down 3 on 1, the Lunatic Fringe tried his best, but couldn't overcome the odds, succumbing to a Sister Abigail from Bray Wyatt.
After the match, Rollins argued with Reigns on the outside while Ambrose recovered in the ring. Reigns shrugged off Rollins, before entering the ring. He starred down at the fallen Ambrose before shaking his head and walking off, leaving more questions about the future of The Shield.
Winners: The Wyatt Family
Baron Corbin(c) vs Apollo Crews- Intercontinental Title Match
Two of SmackDown's break-out stars went head-to-head, exchanging offense right away. Crews, who has shown great maturity since his move to SmackDown, controlled Corbin. Crews abandoned his high-flying offense in favor of a slower pace, grounding Corbin with big strikes and taking the champion off guard. Crews, however, couldn't connect on the Spin-out Powerbomb, and Corbin capitalized with an End of Days. This couldn't keep the challenger down, though, and Corbin, angered by the kick-out, set up for another End of Days. Crews countered, slamming Corbin into the mat with a Gorilla press and following up with a beautiful standing moonsault to capture his first gold in Universe Mode.
Winner and the NEW Intercontinental Champion: Apollo Crews
Kevin Owens(c) vs Sami Zayn- United States Title Match
Owens viciously attacked Sami before their title match could get underway, stomping away at his challenger. Although the ref was able to get the match going, it was clear Sami was in no shape to compete. The Underdog from the Underground did his best, but the champion controlled the match, giving Sami no time to breathe. A devastating Pop-up Powerbomb delivered another title retention is short time, as Owens walked out, belt still around his waist as officials checked on Sami Zayn.
Winner and still United States Champion: Kevin Owens
Bayley vs Asuka- Raw Women's Title Match
With a new champion to be crowned, there were extra festivities for this huge match-up. Raw GM Shane McMahon congratulated both women on making it this far, and introduced the woman who was presenting the new Raw Women's Title: two-time Women's Champion, Trish Stratus! Trish showed the new belt to both Bayley and Asuka, and the title match was underway.
Although Bayley is known more for her energetic personality, she is a fantastic wrestler in her own right, and she showed that early, out-wrestling Asuka. The Empress of Tomorrow quickly changed the course of the match, though, when she connected with some big strikes. This was a fast-paced battle with a lot of traded offense, and that suited Bayley, as she connected on a Bayley-to-Belly, but only for a two count. Asuka connected on more strikes to set up the Asuka Lock, but Bayley showed her heart, fighting to the bottom rope to break the hold. On they went, neither woman truly gaining control. Bayley just seemed to have the little bit more, though, and after fighting off a second Asuka Lock attempt, she connected with a second Bayley-to-Belly, catching Asuka off guard. The ref's hand slapped the mat three times, and the first Raw Women's Champion was crowned.
After the match, a lot of the women's division across both brands came out to celebrate the occasion, as a crying Bayley celebrated in the middle of the ring. A defeated Asuka, knowing she was beaten by the better woman, raised Bayley's hand as the crowd cheered the respectful gesture, before the noise reached a fever pitch as Bayley's best friend Sasha Banks arrived. The two women shared a hug in the ring, before leaving the ring to head up the ramp. Suddenly, though, Sasha snapped. The Boss unleashed on the new champion with vicious kicks as the crowd looked on, stunned. Sasha then rammed Bayley's head into the steel post, slamming her off the steel several times before locking in the Bank Statement. Only then could officials finally drag Sasha away, as a very concerned Shane McMahon looked on, his new champion out cold on the ramp.
Winner and the NEW Raw Women's Champion: Bayley
I've decided to start cutting these pay-per-views into 2 parts, to make it easier to read. We close out Part 1 with Bayley being crowned champion and Sasha's shocking betrayal. When we come back for Part 2 later today, we will cover the final 3 matches, so stay tuned for that.
