The Dog League: Week 12 Review(2018 Season)

Rascal proves his worth and Rare Woofs bring out the brooms in Week 12 of the Dog League. (Reminder: the Dog League is a fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Game 1: Tug of War(109.98) vs Leaping Girl(126.96)

ANALYSIS

Leaping Girl keeps her season alive, as the unlikely tandem of Ezekiel Elliott(20.3 points) and Nick Chubb(24.8 points) powered her to victory. With this win, Leaping Girl does still have a chance to make the playoffs, although she needs to win out and for other results to go her way. Tug of War didn't have a bad game, but other than Phillip Lindsay(17 points), there were no real highlights this week.

Game 2: Ridiculous Rascals(124.94) vs Tailwaggerz(105.04)

ANALYSIS

It was an uneven game for Rascal, as Christian McCaffrey(35.7 points) and the Ravens defense(18 points) played well. On the other hand, Doug Baldwin(3.9 points), Antonio Brown(6.7 points) and Greg Olsen(1.1 points) all struggled mightily to get anything going, making this game far closer than it had any right to be. Tailwaggerz' day was very similar to Tug of War's, as there were no real standout performers. With this loss, their path to the regular season championship has gotten incredibly murky, and they have now won only one game out of the past three.

Game 3: Rare Woofs(109.92) vs Bark Force(102.82)

ANALYSIS

Rare Woofs raided the janitor's closet and brought out the best brooms money can buy, as they finished the regular season sweep over Bark Force. Leonard Fournette(22.8 points) led the way before his unfortunate ejection and probable suspension, forcing Rare Woofs to find someone else to carry the load. That man might be Josh Adams(16.4 points) who provided a nice spark this week. For Bark Force, Saquon Barkley(26.2 points) starred yet again, but this game will be the ultimate what-if scenario. Bark Force started Mark Ingram(6.6 points) this week, leaving Sony Michel(20.5 points) and JuJu Smith-Schuster(24.9 points) on the bench, both of whom could have easily won the game.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Latest Update on new puppy

As you may well know from my mom's posts, there is a handsome puppy in the house. His name is Rascal, which appropriately fits him. Before Tuesday, he'd never had much problem with the crate, something I found interesting. He'd also never experienced anxiety issues when people came and left. Then yesterday, my dad and I were standing in the driveway organizing things for a trip to Goodwill. All of a sudden, Rascal freaked out. Some history behind the newest member of our family. Rascal was a stray in Hollister, when CARE, a rescue organization, found him. At this time Rascal was estimated to be about 2 months old, the age of a puppy when you first get them. He went to another family, who had him for quite a while, around 5 months. Then, without explanation, this family moved to Ohio, surrendering Rascal. CARE once again had him and his crazy antics for about a month. Rascal's name was changed to Boots in his time with CARE, but he wouldn't answer to that name. He ...
