Tug of War strikes back in Week 9 of the Dog League. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)
Game 1: Tug of War(142.3) vs Ridiculous Rascals(121.96)
ANALYSIS
The trio of Matt Ryan(28 points), Alvin Kamara(29.6 points) and the Bears defense(28 points) powered Tug of War to a decisive win this week, ending their four game losing streak and moving back into 2nd place. Rascal by no means had a poor game, with Christian McCaffrey (27.7 points) leading the way, but not much was going to be enough against Tug of War this week.
Game 2: Tailwaggerz(125.78) vs Bark Force(81.8)
ANALYSIS
Another week, another win for a Tailwaggerz squad that is already one of the best in Dog League history. Cam Newton(21.18 points), Kareem Hunt(32.1 points) and James Conner(22.3 points) nearly won the game by themselves, as Bark Force was downright atrocious. At least a couple of the Chiefs players, Patrick Mahomes(26.8 points) and Travis Kelce(21.9 points) did well, but the likes of Mark Ingram(1.6 points), Mike Evans(1.6 points) and the Redskins defense(0 points) stunk up the joint. Next week, Bark Force will get back Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham, but will that be enough to beat a rejuvenated Tug of War?
Game 3: Rare Woofs(98.78) vs Leaping Girl(116.7)
ANALYSIS
Leaping Girl is out of last place, mainly thanks to the efforts of James White(22.3 points). She'll have a rivalry game next week against Ridiculous Rascals. Rare Woofs two game winning streak comes to an end, as Michael Thomas(27.1 points) tried his best to carry the load. With Andrew Luck on bye, Rare Woofs were forced to turn to Mitchell Trubisky(8 points) who simply couldn't get the job done, while Kenyan Drake(3.5 points) continues to engender hate and love in equal measure.
